Here It Is!
It's really sad how full of criminals the game and union itself is. Supposedly Orza tipped off players they would be tested. The players union is a joke, run by thugs. Jose Canseco was mentioned the most times in the report. Sosa was mentioned 0 times. Jose said he couldn't believe Arod was not mentioned. Jose has said for a while now arod also was doing it. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ap-m...p&type=lgns I think they just want Arod to beat the homerun record and are hiding his activity level. Also, 16 yankees were listed out of 77 names! (Aaron's list has more than 80, but it says it only named 77, so i don't know).

Thanks. And what are the bold for? It couldn't be bolding players I had as my favorites becuase since when did I mention Matt Williams? Although I did like him. Think how sad it is that some of those used them and still sucked. lol I liked Glenallen Hill. Also I think it's funny the 2 wild pitchers Ankiel and Rocker used them. I wonder when it was compared to their wildness.

Miguel Tejada has also been named.

Andy Pettitte agreed with the Yankees on a deal today and he is the second player leaked from the report as using steroids.

Here It Is!
George Mitchell's results from his steroids probe will be released today AND name names of bnig stars. The first name leaked is Roger Clemens. Surprise, surprise Jose Canseco was right yet again when he named Roger. Edit: The list has now been revealed. As if I didn't have enough reasons to dislike the Yankees, more than a dozen of the 75 players listed played for the Yankees in the past or present. I am just glad that team is finally getting what it deserves, having lost their manager and now having so many players named as steroid users. The list also has players such as Rick Ankiel becuase it is listing players who used HGH, not only the steroid users. Here are some of the players on the list: 1. Roger Clemens (9 pages are devoted to him) 2. Barry Bonds 3. Miguel Tejada 4. Troy Glaus 5. Chuck Knoblauch 6. Gary Sheffield 7. Andy Pettitte 8. Mo Vaughn (I was LAUGHED at for saying Vaughn used steroids) 9. Kevin Brown 10. Jason Giambi 11. Brian Roberts 12. David Justice 13. Benito Santiago 14. Lenny Dykstra 15. Eric Gagne 16. Rick Ankiel 17. Gary Matthews, Jr. 18. Paul Lo Duca

Everyone you want on the yankees just keep disappearing day after day. Rowand signs with Giants and Peavy about to sign an extension with the Padres. And of course they apparently aren't getting Santana either. I personally am glad. I always want them and the red sox to suck. Everyone else I am fine with them succeeding.

Petrino New Arkansas Coach
After being blown out Monday Night while coaching the Atlanta Falcons, Petrino resigned and became the new Arkansas coach. Interesting events surrounding the first game that was up for bet on my sports betting system.

Louisville Player Suspended
Caracter, Louisville's second leading scorer, has been suspended indefinitely for rules violations. The team as a whole voted to suspend him. I personally think it's funny how much Pitino has underachieved with his Louisville teams since he left Conference USA and was making jokes about Calipari and Memphis not getting to leave the conference. I guess he is laughing still since he has even missed the NCAA Tournament totally sometimes with teams that were ranked in the TOP TEN to start the season. This year they started the season at #6 and have already lost to 1 good team and 1 bad team and ahve barely won in some other matchups.

David Segui admits he used steroids.

2007/08 Hot Stove Baseball
The Brewers replaced him with Gagne. Thus Gagne probably becomes a closer again. Hawkins signs with the Yankees. I like that move, although it's stilla long way from getting them anywhere. They definitely needed bullpen help though. Lo Duca signs with the Nationals. Randy Wolf signs with Padres.

Hgh & Steroids
heh yeah it's beating a dead horse to reply to a topic that it is in the news again (like the thanksgiving one you bumped years later also) and it is also beating one to point out I was right as usual. edit: (oh and the puckett one also lol)

Hgh & Steroids
As usual, what I told Aaron turned out to be correct. Major League Baseball announced there was insufficient evidence that Rick Ankiel used steroids so he will not be punished. Now these idiot reporters who wrote stories such as "sweet story not so sweet" have hurt his image based on assumptions, just as Aaron assumed using HGH must mean you're using 'roids. Ankiel is great and, as far as MLB knows, innocent. On another note overpaid Jose Guillen and Jay Gibbons WERE found to have enough evidence against them to get them suspended 15 days next season. Jose Guillen is probably laughing all the way to the bank. He barely did a thing last year becuase of oming off of them and now he gets $36 million based on past steroid use. I predict we see hiw new team try to get out of their deal with him when they realize he is never going to be his old self.

Kirby Puckett suffers Stroke
One of my friends as a kid had Mattingly as his favorite player and another likes Sandberg and Sosa (before people knew Sosa was good). My brother's favorite player was Mark Grace.

2007/08 Hot Stove Baseball
Heh. Yankees will NOT get Santana and probably the Red Sox will. Guess as usual of late the Yankees made decisions to ruin their short-term future. I see no way they can outdo a red Sox team with Santana and a Tigers team who kept Rogers, added Willis (due for a huge breakout year finally), and the high average Cabrera.
-
2007/08 Hot Stove Baseball
In a huge deal, Detroit acquired Dontrelle Willis and Miguel Cabrera Tuesday. Finally for the short-term future the red sox and yankees will NOT both make the playoffs in my opinion. Of course if the White Sox and Indians do bad, this wouldn't impact that. Good day for Tigers. The baseball tigers got that deal done and the Memphis Tigers won in Overtime to keep their #2 ranking.

Crazy Final Week In NCAA Football
Actually after looking at stats, I honestly think it may be Ohio State and Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech was barely ahead of LSU and beat a higher ranked team yesterday than LSU did.

Crazy Final Week In NCAA Football
Within the last 8 days or so two number 1s and two number 2s all lost. Now it is chaos as to who will play for the national championship. A 4-7 team beat the #2 team in the country, meanwhile Oklahoma beat #1 Missouri as I expected. Due to those events, it probably will have a title game of Ohio State vs. Georgia. However Georgia did not even win their division, let alone the whole conference as LSU did! So I am agreeing that the voters on polls may try their best to keep Georgia out. I ahve a feeling they wont only put LSU over Georgia, but may even move Georgia down further to be sure they cant stay in the top 2 in the BCS rankings. Other teams that COULD be in the national championship game are Kansas, Virginia Tech, USC, and Hawaii. But none of those will likely make it. I would say it's even still possible West Virginia or Missouri could be in it. They say these losses assure they won't be in it, but what's to say they wont STAY AHEAD of teams like LSU? Either way my prediction is Ohio State vs. LSU.
