Finally New Stuff On CBS?
It appears cbs will have auction leagues this year for fantasy baseball. They definitely do for leagues you set up yourself (league commissioner). I hope they finally addressed other needs for their games.

Memphis Officially #1
Also #1 on AP. Tennessee is actually ahead of Duke on that one which surprises me. Deserved though.

Memphis Officially #1
The University Of Memphis is officially #1 in the Coaches Poll just released. We were further ahead of Kansas on the AP Poll so we should be #1 on both. Interesting it happens on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which obviously is Memphis-related.

Memphis Wins National Championships
http://gotigersgo.cstv.com/genrel/012008aaa.html Not only could my school be ranked #1 in the country later today and has a chance at a National Championship, not only did the women's soccer team go to the ncaa tournament, not only did the football team go toa bowl game, but now University of Memphis won TWO National Championships. 1. The cheerleading squad won the National Championship. 2. The dance team won the hip hop division National Championship for the second straight year. Memphis has been known for immense talent for many years, but now it's becoming overwhelming how much is possessed by students at this school.

UNC Bites The Dust
Some think Kansas will leap ahead of us, which would be ridiculous. Memphis has the #1 nonconference schedule. People can whine about how bad our conference is and say we don't deserve it AFTER conference season has gone on long enough to push us behing everyone. After today's events Memphis will be #2 in RPI behind only Tennessee. I think we will easily be #1 on the AP poll. The Coaches Poll is the one where we were barely ahead of Kansas. We were 100 points ahead on the AP. Some local announcers said they think we will be #1 on the Coaches, but maybe not AP. I think that can't possibly happen. I still think Memphis #1 on both. Just much less of a lead will be in the coaches one. edit: by the way conference may mean something if memphis was winning by 10 each game. The past 5 games we have won by 44, 37, 41, 27, 36. Also people say our free throw shooting will cost us games. Yet UNC lost with almost 80% free throw shooting and Memphis and Kansas won with around 60%.

UNC Bites The Dust
I was going to add a bet on which of the 3 undefeated teams will still be undefeated at season's end later tonight. Now I have one less team to put in as a choice. North Carolina loses to Maryland AT HOME 3 days after almost losing to Georgia Tech. I think they will drop 4 places after this bad of a week. Against 2 mediocre teams they won by 1 and lost by 2. Meanwhile Memphis and Kansas play later tonight. Kansas is only a 6 point favorite. As long as Memphis wins, we are finally numero uno on Monday. And if Mizzou helps us out, we will be the final unbeaten team and unanimous number one Monday. I know people who go to Maryland and just told them a few days ago I want them to beat UNC and Duke.

The GREAT ACC
I get so tired of hearing how North Carolina and Duke are in a conference soooooooooo much better than Memphis'. After their loss today, Miami (FL) will drop out of the rankings. So other than UNC and Duke the ONLY ONLY ONLY ranked team in the entire conference will be Clemson and they could drop out very soon also! Memphis has ZERO ranked teams other than ourselves, so you have to say the ACC is better as a whole, but it is not even close to as loaded as they pretend. By the end of the season it may veryw ell be only 2 ranked teams in it and C-USA can still have several end up being ranked. Memphis, UAB, Houston, and TCU all have chances to be ranked.

2007-2008 NFL Playoffs
Wow. I did correctly pick the Cowboys to lose, but I am shocked the Colts lost. Now New England will unfortunately finish undefeated. I think only the Colts could have beat them and POSSIBLY the Cowboys. I'm just glad the Cowboys are history. I have always hated them. lol They were talking during Memphis' basketball game yesterday about how amazing it would be if New England and Memphis both go undefeated because both of those sports have had zero undefeated teams the past 30 years.

NBA Game To Be Replayed
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080111/ap_on_...LWQgr8_d9cE1vAI As usual with Yahoo stories this will be a broken link later, so I really should find links from other sites. Anyway a game has to be replayed (the final minute or so) due to a mistake where O'neal was fouled out with less than 6 fouls. It is the first protest to win in the NBA in over 25 years.

Saint Louis Sets Modern Day Low Score Record
St. Louis set the all-time low for points in a game since the shot clock began by scoring only 20 points last night. The record low for any game is 6. Tennessee beat Temple 11-6 in 1973. lol http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/recap;_ylt=A...227&prov=ap

University Of Memphis
It's funny Memphis won by 41 and the AP recaps start out saying "things didn't go so smoothely for Memphis", yet North Carolina beats teams like NC Asheville by 12 points and that is all dandy. lmao. We will have the last laugh when we win it all. The announcers lastnight were saying they don't even remember the last time they saw a team as deep with talent as ours and that it may take an NBA team to beat us. The past 3 games we have won by 44, 37, and 41 now.

I am sure glad you told me about that. He is such a popular player. lol Someone is about to sign Guardado. I think the rangers.

University Of Memphis
We are 30 point favorites tonight and our last 2 games we won by 44 and 37. Most of the top teams are not winning by 30+ anymore against even the bad teams. North Carolina started out winning by more than us, but now they are winning by closer to 20 against the bad teams and they barely are getting past good teams. Memphis is winning by 30-40 against bad ones and double digits still against the great ones such as Georegetown and Arizona.

In my sleep today I thought I realized what it is, but lmao I thought it meant odds for winning. So that shows how stupid my sleep was since it is for players, not teams. But I don't think your guess is right becuase some yesterday said such things as -9 and +13 and weird numbers like that which wouldn't account for assis to turnover.

What in the world is that stat in NBA box scores? On yahoo anyway it has that. It doesn't even tell what it is and it can't be a streak of shots or rebounds being offensive/defensive becuase the numbers don't relate and those are the stats around it so I have no clue what else it could be. Nice job by them of having a stat that isn't even explained better than having a plus and minus sign by it. lol

2007-2008 NFL Playoffs
Well the Steelers just lost a heartbreaker. I didn't watch it, but saw they came back to lead until a FG was kicked with under 40 seconds left in the game.

Here It Is!
Haha. Clemens and Pettitte have been asked to testify before Congress. Now we will see the truth about Clemens for real. He sees Bonds having criminal action against him for lying, so Clemens CAN'T lie before congress. Thus he will decline and it will prove his guilt.
