I wonder where in the world to find old stats as far as schedule/result logs for past seasons for college sports. I don't have time to search right now, but all I know is when I want to see how Memphis started out a past season I can never find old season logs! Maybe I need to type in the year along with it. But there SHOULD be a site that archives year after year for college teams.

I wouldn't say they "need" another. Wang is probably better than most #2 starters. I don't know. I think their problems are way more than starting problems. They have a lot of players who have "decent" years and nobody having great ones anymore. Well Arod of course. But a lot of them I just don't think of as "great". And they are way overpaying for Rivera. I guess your hero Chamberlain will do good, but in general I think players are going to have to go back to theeir old selves or the Yankees won't be great. For instance if Farnsworth keeps being the current Farnsworth, that is not good. He was only so-so. Also I am sure Mussina is staying in the rotation and they have a couple other young starters. I doubt they would get another starter if they get Santana. If they DON'T get Santana, they are not in great shape, as I don't like any of the free agent options they would have.

Delmon deal finalized. I think if Santana goes to the Red Sox his value decreases becuase it's just hard to have a good enough e.r.a. and whip there. His wins would go up. K's probably would go down since they would most likely not use him as many innings. If he goes to Yankees, his value increases in my opinion.

This could be an interesting week. I will be very surprised if Memphis is not #1 in the country on the next poll. With North Carolina and UCLA having injuries, UNC plays AT Ohio State and AT Kentucky this week and UCLA plays #8 Texas. I would be very surprised if each team does not lose a game this week. And Memphis is already done for the week and still undefeated. Then Kansas plays USC Sunday. After only 1 day off USC has to face Memphis. So either they will be ranked very well if they beat Kansas or they will probably be unranked if they lose to them. But either way I like Memphis' chances when USC only has 1 day off between the #4 and #3 teams in the country.

After receiving a second shot at being able to get to the National Championship game, the LSU Tigers have once again lost a triple Overtime game to all but ruin their chances. Perhaps if the winner of the Kansas/Missouri game loses next week to Oklahoma and a few other things happen it could allow LSU back in, but it is almost a 0% chance.

Now some of Bonds' former firends are even going to testify against him. His inability to maintain good relationships with people is starting to bite him.

It's funny all of these players who insisted they loved him so much still are choosing to stay with the Yankees. If they really believed he was so great, they would have never resigned. Canseco, Greenwell, Naehring backed up their claims by leaving Boston when Kevin Kennedy was fired. I guess either they are bigger men than Arod and Rivera or else these two are lying that they thought Joe was so great and undeserving of losing his job. lol

Memphis plays Oklahoma on ESPN2 tonight at about 9 P.M. ET. It probably will start later than that though, since it starts after the conclusion of the UCONN and Gardner-Webb game.
