I am sure hardly anyone even got to see it live because of when it was on. I just happened to have sports radio on and heard updates starting when he had 50 something.

When I was listening he only had 61 with like 6 mins to go and somehow poured in 20 more. Only Chamberlain's 100 is ahead of this in NBA history.

lmao I root for Wisconsin since Cody likes them, but so many columns and articles are saying their loss yesterday was the biggest surprise not only of this seaosn but many seasons! lol They had won many MANy home games against top teams and then lost at home to north dakota state, who just moved from division 2 to division 1 and isnt even tournament eligible for 3 more years. lmao.

Yes it does. A #1 seeed is a prestige thing and it virtually guarantees you an easy ride to sweet 16. And usually 2 or 3 of them make the final 4.

That does make sense, but in actuality we should be #2. Those thigns dont matter as much as one would think. What matters is Duke lost to an unranked team and we lost to 2 top 5 teams and also I think we may have taken over the #1 RPI now. Not sure. Actually it looks like Duke may still have the #1 RPI. But either way, they lost to an unranked team, which is not a good thing.

Welp, Louisville didnt wanna cooperate. Theyw ere winning late then gave up and got blown out. So UCONN will be #1 then it is up in the air whether we will have duke #2 or memphis #2.
  7. GOODBYE #1 Duke GOODBYE #2 Florida ALl three remaining unbeaten teams L-O-S-T today. One game left. If #3 UCONN can be upset by Louisville, we ahve a very good chance at being #1 on the next poll. Only way we wouldnt is if they keep Duke #1 despite a loss!

And there it is. Duke loses the ball at the 3 point line and time runs out as they lsoe by 3. Florida is the only unbeaten team left in the country and they are only 1 point favorites against Tennessee tonight.

    yes, great jokes there indeed.........
  10. dumb, in my opinion. Starters matter so much more than middle relievers. Benson can last late into games this season I am sure.

Undefeated Pitt not undefeated anymore. Wisconsin loses in the most embarrassing loss of the season, as they (with a great record and RPI) lose to North Dakota State. Duke has been man-handled by yet another unranked team.

All top 25 teams play today except #24 North Carolina (who wont even be in the top 25 next week anyway after losing to a bad team this week). #1,2, and 3 all have shots at losing today. We are 20 point favorites, but any game can be bad for any team, so hopefully we make sure to win. But anyway, so I am rooting against Duke, UCONN, and Florida today and for Memphis. If that all happened the way I want, then we would be #1 or #2 next week. Only way we wouldnt be #1 is if they keep Duke at #1 even if they take a loss. The games I care about are all back-to-back. The games are at 12:30, 2, 4, and 6. my time!

Courtney won the all-around ina meet last week and was named the "gymnast of the week". Not sure if it is some national award or if this tv channel I was watching (CSTV) just named her that.
  14. I forgot about this until I heard it on the radio today, and now I remember it well. Back in 1996, NBC was so dumb that they did not even show gymnastics live. Someone was complaining on the radio today that when the Olympics is held in other countries, NBC shows a lot of things on tape delay. Well back in 1996, it was IN THE U.S. and they STILL tape delayed gymnastics. They can be so dumb sometimes. And to top that off it was only tape delayed by an hour or two, I believe. So they should have just shown it live. Wow.

Well lately you said you were underscored on floor I think. So hopefully they dont do something dumb when you do the new skill great! Actually you got scored well on iut this past time apparently. (on floor, that is)
  18. Beat Tennessee by 9. We are now 16-2. Assuming we dont let our guard down Saturday against a mediocre team, we will move up if Florida or UCONN lose to their tough opponents. We only have 2 games against UAB as our only tough games remaining, and those are medium toughness and they have a main guy hurt. If we TRY, we could win ever game remaining.
  19. I dont like the Jets because Pac likes them.
  20. He always performs under pressure. He was starting to suck to end last REGULAR season, so OF COURSE he still did in playoffs. He was tired from the long season.
  21. Memphis fans truly dislike Louisville, for the most part. They were scared to keep the rivalry alive with us and have always been a big rival of ours. So it makes me happy to see a bad St. John's team beat them by double digits tonight. Especially since my uncle always claimed Pitino is a better coach than Calipari and gets more out of his players. Louisville started the season AHEAD of us and now will be somewhere worse than 20 and possibly even out of the top 25 if they lose to UCONN later this week. Meanwhile Calipari has our team (juast as young as theirs, so Pitino cant make excuses) #4 in the nation. Trying not to jinx though because we play a BIG game later today against Tennessee and need to win it. After this game, there are only a few more decently tough games for us this season and zero extremely tough matchups.
  22. I knew this before you because I rock, but I got lazy and ddint post it.
