Someone post. I hate posting this many in a row. Chad's Boston College lost 2 days ago. So if we beat bad Providence Saturday, we will move up to #6 next week.

For the second straight week the NATIONAL freshman of the week is a University Of Memphis player. Last week it was Shawne Williams. This week it was Antonio Anderson. Each almost went pro instead of going to college here. We are so loaded. We have other freshmen who could win one at some point too, and this is out of the whole country.

Great job. Wow you always seem to do great on floor and vault. Very cool when you and Megan post about your meets. Anyway good luck on your midterms.

I left a message in her guestbook. Really she has been my favorite gymnast for about 5 years. I would say her and Shannon Miller have got to be the 2 I have liked most out of the 13 years I have been watching. I also have liked Carly Patterson, Vanessa Atler, Dominique Moceanu, and Jaycie Phelps. (I also noticed 2 of the guys are going to Minnesota, Megan).

You ignore me when I support you.... You already know you're good anyway. Get someone to beat up the judges.

Gonzaga lost yesterday. This is awesome the respect we are finally getting. We now moved ahead of Jaime's home team. The next person's home team we will move ahead of will be Chad's. Memphis is now #7 in the country. Chad's Boston College is #6 and almost surely going to lose to #3 Uconn tonight or tomorrow. Whenever that is. We only have 2 games the next 2 weeks. Both on the road, but both against unranked teams. This is great. And Gonzaga shjould still be top 10 when we play them and then this Saturday it is #1 Duke vs. #2 Texas. So if Texas can win (and they WILL have the advantage by it being at home and plus Duke still missing a guard)... then we would play ANOTHER #1 team in a few weeks.

Did you think Chellsie is less flexible now, like me? I mean i didnt watch her closely, but she just seems to have lost it. She used to be flexible in ways, not like Hollie type flexible though.

#5 Oklahoma loses. So most likely Gonzaga will move to 5 and we play them in a little more than 3 weeks. Then we play Texas, #2 at this time.

Memphis wins 91-81 at Cincinnati with Carney scoring 0 points. We are now 6-1. And people kept saying how bad our conference will be since cincy, louisville, and other teams left this year... but Houston beat the #15 AND #25 teams this week! I am happy. Houston should now be ranked on this next poll. And UAB is alwyas good. So we may have 3 ranked teams in oru conference, including us and who knows... maybe 1 surprise top 25 team!

4 Oklahoma plays 5 villanova today. So we COULD move up soon, depending. We play at 2 my time against cincinnati.

I personally like him. He would have had a much better year this season if he had not been hurt constantly. He is good at defense, can geta lot of steals when he wants to (they claimed he was done stealing, yet got more without being caught much after they said that) and he has high batting averages. He doesn't have much power though and the twins do still need a player with a ton of power and maybe even 1 more starter.

A place to mention all closers for people wanting to steal some saves late in drafts. Tom Gordon is apparently the first new closer and I personally would love to risk him. AT LEAST by late in a draft. he should be the new closer for the Phillies.

Memphis wins against Jackson State 97-70. We are now 5-1. We play on the road three Saturdays in a row now, with no games in-between. Then we come home for some games, including #6 Gonzaga and #2 Texas.

I like her too, but she doesnt look like she could do her tradition flexibility moves. I dunno. I will have to watch her and see.

You have always made it clear you like Chelssie more though. I am surprised Chellsie did so good, frankly. I like her possibly most of anyone but she sure doesnt look in gymnastics shape to me. Of course I havent paid that close attention or seen her in person, but anyways....

That isn't all she said back then though, but I will just leave it at that. lol

Memphis moved up to #9 despite losing. I didn't even notice until just now that we play again tonight. I thought it was tomorrow night. Finally we are getting the exact respect we deserve. Not too much, not too little. In the past they would have moved us down even after that great display we put on.

I just think it is humorous Megan said Americans are all "overscored" and that an American wouldnt win Worlds. Not only did one win it, but the top 2 were. lol And she got mad at me and said I "know so little" about gymnastics by saying an American could win it. *sigh*

ok, then you're saying flat out the Broncos are better than the Cowboys since there are no excuses in losses. Plain and simple we were robbed. But I will take a 3 point loss to the #1 team in the country. Anyone who made bets on the game won if they bet on memphis, lost if they bet on Duke. Most likely we will end up #10 or #11 on the new polls. The guy who made the winning shot should have already been fouled out. They said he foulded our guy and then the officials gave the foul to someone else. Thus he had 4 fouls instead of 5 when he amde the winning shot. Reddick BIG TIME mugged us the whole game. BIG TIME. He kept shoving us with his elbow every time he went to the basket and NEVER wss called for an offensive foul. The officials definitely robbed us. I know it. The commentators on the radio know it. Everyone who is honest knows it. Duke + officials = 3 point winners. Duke + nobody= Memphis won by 11. Calipari said coming out of 2 timeouts our guy ran the wrong way and that was why the ball was thrown away. He said he was wondering if they were watching the cheerleaders instead of paying attention to his calls.
