I have got to the point where I honestly am tons more excited about memphis basketball games (university of memphis, not the grizzlies) than baseball even. Been thatw ay for years. But especially towards January I keep wishing fantasy baseball leagues would hurry up and stat! Unfortunately I dont have a favorite team so the season itself doesnt matter as much to me.

today is our first of 2 exhibition games. Hopefully we win by 50+. If we do play duke, it is only 3 weeks until we would beat them.

Not as into football as baseball/basketball luckily (as shown by me neevr updating the poll here) so it didnt crush me as bad as I am sure some are. lol But yeah Tennessee has done terrible and I dont think they have had many injuries. Mainly they keep doing the absolute DUMBEST turnovers. Last week they turned one ball over when they were about to score by fumbling it through the end zone. Then another time the guy called for a fair catch and wasnt even in the right place and had to lunge forward to catch it and fumbled it that time too. Now I am rooting for Memphis to beat them.

I dont think they got any votes. But I remember them being good some years, so who knows. Memphis was one of the best teams in the country in the 80's, but has underachieved the past 5 years. We havent actually EDNED the season in the top 25 in many years. Unless we barely were in it 2 years ago. Hmm I cant remember.

Yeah I do bad on brackets usally even though I follow memphis every game closely. I know everything about other teams decently well, but dont watch them that closely. Inbe year i did a bracket contest on the radio and if I picked ONE game differently, I would have wona trip to Hawaii.l What did I win for barely missing it? A t-shirt. lol

If we keep winning and the good teams keep winning in preseason NIT, we already have to play the #14, #18, and #1 teams all in that order for our second, third, and fourth games of the season. We then later play #3 Texas and #7 Gonzaga at home.
