Yeah, exactly how it is everywhere. Would make it so much cooler if we win the national championship. Notice on sports center all year they have been showing the #1 team, then #2, then they skip to like #20 and leave memphis totally out. It is ridiculous. For the second time in 3 years though ESPN is following our team around this month and airing national shows showing what it's like to be around our team! So look for that on tv soon.

Some guy said Memphis MAY not be a #1 even if they never lose again unless Villanova or UCONN 1 or the other falls apart. And we COULD be a #1 even with 1 more loss also though.

Memphis wins by 39 and held the opponent to 10 first half points (6 of which were on layups where we screwed up). the guy who plead guilty to marijuana possession today and was sentenced to 1 year probation had 13 points and 12 rebounds for us today. I believe both were his career highs. We only made 3 3-pointers and 1 slam dunk and still won by 39 points.

Me either. I had the tv on that channel for opening ceremonies when I was online busy and it was the most boring thing ever. I only like Summer Olympics because of gymnastics and a few other things.

The way they vote they will probably do something like #1 Duke, #2 Villanova, #3 UCONN, #4 Memphis. Or maybe even #1 Villanova, #2 Duke. The best case scenario is memphis win both games this week, uconn lose to west virginia sunday, villanova lose to georgetown sunday like duke already has, and duke lose tonight to wake forest somehow. Then we would be #1.

Unfortunately it may move Memphis DOWN in the polls. But we will see. I am now just hoping Villanova loses at the end of the week because they do have a potentially tough matchup this weekend. If that happens we will be #2. If not, we may be #4.

#1 UCONN vs. #4 Villanova tonight. The problem is if Villanova wins I bet they will move ahead of us. So I would then need Villanova to lose later in the week. Or UCONN to win then lose later in the week to west virginia. Tennessee should be up to #7 or #8 tonight and Gonzaga is #5. We beat both of those teams.

Memphis wins by 10 after a ferocious run to start the second half. UCLA lost at Washington. Thus, Memphis is now the ONLY team in the country out of 334 teams to still be undefeated on the road. We are 1 of only 6 teams undefeated in conference also and Duke/Uconn will NOT stay undefeated in conference the whole year.

Memphis keeps on trucking. We have a game today at 3 P.M.. We already ahve tied our best start in history at 21-2. I hope Maryland finds some way to beat Duke. Then hopefully nextw eek UCONN would lose to Villanova and/or West Virginia. And hopefully ewe keep winning. After today we only have 6 regular season games left. If we were to never lose again and also win the national championship, we would finish the season 37-2.

I know you all were on the edge of your seat waiting, but last Monday: 79/100.. I started out 44/50 and then it went downhill. Made me so mad I was knocking 'em down 1 after another for so long. Didn't play any other day due to rain, then cold, then snow.

Wow, I didnt even realize a receiver threw a TD pass for the first time in super bowl history, and the game also included the longest run and longest interception return in super bowl history. Those last ones surprise me because neither was close to 100 yards and you would think someone would have had 90 or 95 yard returns at SOME point in SB history.

yeah. on their LAST possession if they had got the FG first then I wouldnt have had a shot at all. But with a TD, i wouldhave. Actually even then, no. Because PIT wouldnt have got another FG. Anyway I bet it was a mighty low rated super bowl. But it was a good game.

Hmm it is 14-10. If Pittsburgh were to get a TD this drive then Seattle gets one, Seattle would probably go for 2 and indeed get to 18. Then Pittsburgh would just need a FG to make me exactly right.

Was going to delete this, but there is nothing wrong with someone asking people to be in a league, I just want to be sure people know if he does one, it is not at all any official league and I am not being in it.

ok I am setting up a unique type of league. I dont know if it will be only people from here because none of you even come here anymore.................. But anyway I could charge as little as $10 if it is a 10 team league. In all honesty, my league would be awesome if it had 20+ though becuase I am going to use wya less roster slots if I could get that many. So thus I could charge only 5 bucks if I could somehow find 20. This guy Paul said he will be in it, but I dunno anyone else yet. I am going to make things doable by owners, including trade vote most likely, rather than me having any control. It would be much better if people would pay $20 to get a cash prize I could give out (because the other charge is just to pay for some of the league cost rather than me paying the whole thing. Or I guess if another person or two would want to pay me more, I could let everyone else in free). So whether the prize is a trophy (cheap), shirt, or cash is up to what i could get paid in. To me personally this would be my funnest league if I can get it to 10 people because it is going to be VERY unique. 1. It will be head to head, based on categories. 2. 10 categories 3. you only get ONE win or loss each week, not each category being a separate one. If there is a tie the home team wins, thus a REASON for home field advantage. 4. Low roster slots. Not sure yet, but not much more than the normal 9 hitters and a few pitchers. It would be daily transactions, thus more skill needed to win. Another method I could have used is charge for trading or something... If people dont want to pay upfront. I dunno. Anyway and it would be a live draft taking 1-3 days, depending on what people would think I should have it set at. Thus not TOO quick of a draft eneded. I just think a boring normal type of setup would be dumb for a league meant to be fun. I think it would be much "funner" this way where there is a reason for home field advantage and you either win or lose each period, not an in-between type of thing. If I only could get 10 people though, it wouldnt be as good having thinner rosters ebcause they would all be superstars.... edit: wtf? The yahoo mock draft has 1 single pitcher drafted out of the first 25 picks.

This sucks. Yahoo already launced, but the big name pay ones still havent launched. I like getting into things and preparing to draft.

People slighting Memphis are only making us be more sharp and ferocious. They don't like that espn still shows lower ranked teams' highlights before ours and in fact usually dont show ours AT ALL. So they are dedicated to keep winning since they are treated unfairly. On a side note, our women's team is 2-18. lol
