This is so disorganized. I should have a fantasy discussion topic for general stuff like this. But anyway how great... Longoria was apparantly called up and picked up in all three of my leagues while I slept. Also someone keeps makijng crazy proposals to me. And somoene used their #1 waivers claim to pick up SBELL. So I now have the #1 in all three leagues.

Did you notice now in emails it tells what trade offer of yours was declined? Apparantly I singlehandedly changed CBS since they suddenly did all of these changes I told them to do. This and daily transactions were the main 2 things I alwyas thought they should have.

Thats insane. It had 5 objections and one of the owners in the deal asked why it was protested. Nobody said anything and I just assumed it would be vetoed, but nope. And just think of the trades you and I have done separately the past year or two which DIDN'T go through.

Yeah yeah, I knew you would bring that up. BUT when Memphis does finally win it all, it's a bigger deal than the Yankees winning because them winning means simply they are better than 29 teams. Memphis winning would mean they were better than 339 teams I believe. And this year a whopping one team was better than us and they needed us to give them the win, which we obviously were apparantly glad to do for them. lol Forgot about Syracuse. By the way Memphis plays Syracuse for a few years starting this coming season. I think we play at Suracuse for year 1 so you should go to it. We are supposed to be having one of the top 5 recruiting classes. But it won't be the same without Rose. He became so awesome I hate hate hate that he is leaving. I think he may even be my favorite Tiger of all time now. That is how great he became at the end of the season.

Commish must be smoking too much. They approved CUeto straight up for Byrnes. Cueto was undrafted and Byrnes was an 8th round pick.

I was thinking of trading corpas for a starter in a league I have 4 closers in then i thought whoaaaaaa in daily transactions it is PERFECT to have 4 clsoers. perfect. i can just daily move starters in and out and always have 4 closers in yet get plenty of starts unlike weekly. So I think I am going to waive jeff kent and have yet another starter to move in and out. I really want to pick up Gathright, but I think the bench is wasted when hitters are there. Maybe I would waive Wilklingham for gathright. Hmm. What's weird is I have strugglign pujols and soriano yet I am somehow near the top in all offensive categories.

One more than college teams from NY or NJ. Memphis definitely choked at the end. Much like the Yankees against Arizona, Boston, (list too long to continue)

I just keep sitting here watching people pick up players I want to pick up becuase I can never decide who to drop. Reynolds and Gathright were just picked up. There is another player I want to pick up, but better not say who in case someone from that league happens to read anything here, which is doubtful. But anyway I am tempted to just waive adam jones, aroyo, kent, and others... but kent is hot and the other two are promising. Arroyo is close to 90% owned. edit: ok, it's rj. I would have tow aive kent, kuroda or arroyo basically. Or kelly johnson. By the way someone traded byrnes for cueto and then was surprised it is protested. The Tennessee women's team won their 8'th National Championship. Their coach is like 17 wins from 1,000 I think. She has mroe wins than any women's or men's coach in the history of the games.

Wow... they sure are enjoying their championship. Within one day of it already Rush said he is going pro and the coach is hinting at leaving to coach Oklahoma State oif Kansas doesn't give him "security".

Torre is doing nothing more than show how dumb he is yet again. A proven base stealer like Pierre left to rot on the bench. It's one thing to think Kemp should start. It's another to not use Pierre at all. I am not waiving him becuase I bet he demands a trade. He is being waived in my other leagues. I may pick him up. Because no way will he stay there to get 2 at-bats per week.

Even as big of a tigers fan as I am, I just don't see it happening next year. We possibly are having 3 top recruits coming in, but wow Rose leaving (obviously he will) is just causing a hole that can't be filled. He is awesome awesome awesome. And my ex thinks he's hot. lol But anyway yeah congrats to Kansas. Because although Memphis choked and did horrible plays at the end, Kansas STILL had to perfectly execute and nail that tough 3. This is tough. It's not upsetting me, but it's very disappointing.

What a bad way to lose. Having a 9 point lead with 2 minutes left and then blowing it. One more free throw, that point not taken away from rose's 3, if we had fouled at the end instead of letting them shoot the three, etc.... we would have won. My cousin was at the game and he said the refs were letting them absolutely mug memphis players and he wanted so bad to go punch the refs.

Is it worth wasting a #1 on Lyon in a league where I have 7 starting pitchers and only 2 closers? I am guessing not, but I need a closer somehow.

Morneau and Jeter for soriano. Someone waived rj. I was planning on making moves afetr the first week becuase I am NOT going to use players too long when they suck this year. But there is NOTHING available. Really nobody is doing anything good. Too bad I forgot to pick up Upton. I think a good feature for flb would be a "wish list" where you can add anyone onf ree agency, waivers, or other teams and it's all on a list. Then you can look at it each day to remember who is about to come off of waivers in case you didn't pick them up or even FAs who you werent sure who to drop for them and then forgot they are even FAs still.

Less than 24 hours away from the 2007-2008 National Championship. I put it in the Sports Betting System. Memphis is favored by 2. They have had the toughest road of anyone in the tournament and Kansas quite possibly has had the easiest of all #1 seeds. In a way I hope Memphis blows them out and in a way I hope Memphis wins on a lasts econd shot. If the latter happens though, I would probably rather it be tied when the shot is taken where I don't have a heart attack knowing if it's missed Memphis would lose. In this matchup there are two teams who BOTH are among the best at offense AND defense in the country. UCLA was all defense and UNC was all offense. These are truly the two most complete teams, although the flashier names were with the other two.

I noticed on cbs on players' profiles it now has an area where you can see where they rank in categories such as wins, quality starts, etc... Pretty nifty.

Ankiel I talked up since last year before he came up. But this year he is being drafted too high. I wouldn't call hima sleeper since in my drafts a lot of times he was taken tooe arly. Upton I think will do good and what annoys me is I meant tos ee if he was still a FA anywhere today and he WAS, but I forgot to looka nd someone picked him up. Now I am deciding if Owings is good enough to warrant me waiving someone for. Utley has 2 dingers today. I see your catcher Towles has a homer today. Or whatever his name is. I haven't had a bad performance by ANY pitcher, starter or closer, in ANY league thus far. Even Arroyo and Kuroda have done good and then the rest are top nothc aces.

Turns out he apparantly failed a drug test. I have a feeling they knew l,ong before now and he appealed it. I bet that is revealed some day. Because he was hinting that he wouldn't be back next season a month ago. And that was really strange.

Well hopefully Aaron's is right. Whoever he is. He must be a cool person though since he predicted the winner I want to win.

As far as drafting I didn't have much of a strategy other than don't draft any pitching early. Like I said, in one league I got Papelbon in round 7 or 8. I really think drafting infielders first is a mistake though. I did draft utley first in a league, but think about it... think what you're getting. You get at best 30/30. Well you can find a second baseman MAYBE who can do 20/20 off of free agency so you're using a #1 slot for only 10 homers and 10 steals gain really. Wheras someone like arod is 20 homers gaijn and a ton of rbis gain. I think JD Drew ma FINALLY be my nice sleeper pick. He homered today and he should be due for a big season. he and Patterson are who I am counting on as sleepers really.

First month of the season is so annoying. Players who are killing me in categories can't be dropped this early and if it turns out they do keep sucking then I am putting myself in a hole.

Well the season is under way. Also this turned into only me posting anything and Aaron has not even made a post since opening day, so guess he is not a baseball fan.
