Great now Alfonso Soriano joins Rafael Soriano as two injured Sorianos. Alfonso is supposed to be out "for a while". So I am in bad shape considering I picked him and pujols as my top 2 picks in one of my leagues and both have issues. I am only 1 and 1/2 points out, but when my top two picks are having problems, that is bad.

I told you what the whole add/drop of pitchers does. Motor City keeps doing it and just now he added and dropped FOUR pitchers and this is a daily league where it is definitely going to assure the 1 in e.r.a. and whip if he keeps doing it. I see right now he has the 2 in e.r.a. and 1 in whip. Shocker. It's like throwing away 2 categories, so even if you get a 10 in the others it all evens out to be four 5 and 1/2s if you get the 2 1's.

Someone just dropped Brett Myers. Even though that is my league where I own 7 stud starters and only 1 active closer and 1 hurt one, I am thinking I will need to use my #1 because it's doubtful someone worth more than Myers will be dropped any time soon. I have Harden and Soriano both DLed. I would have to waive cliff lee or micah owings though to pick up myers. Since it is a daily league maybe I will waive Owings and pick him back up for his start later in the week too. But if I waive Lee he is likely to be picked up. I think I am gojng to try to trade a starter before Myers clears. edit: Now someone waived Bonderman. Of course this all happens in the league I am loaded in pitching in.

How fun. Saito blew Kuroda's lead. Borowski blew Westbrook's. Arizona pen blew rj's. So even though I had four starters do good and all have leads when they left, I only get one win. Good reason why not tow aste a lot of time looking at box scores as they happen. It's frustrating seeing everyone do good then lose it. Would have rather seen the results after games were complete.

Well Westbrook and Santana (even in tough matchups) gave given up 4 earned runs in 13 and 1/3 innings. So I avoided being stung by using them. They got me 11 k's and assuming their teams hang on I will get 2 wins. edit: spoke too soon. Now westbrook no decision and Kuroda losing to bad pitt.

I probably should have claimed Weeks. Someone else did. But I have Utley, so didn't want to use a #1 for someone who I had no position for. Now in the league where I only have 2 closers someone offered me linecum and sherrill for jenks. Sounds good, but it just ruings my saves situation, so I dont know.

Players I normally do not draft have been on fire. Ibanez in one league. Now Figgens also. I don't think I have owned him ever except maybe part of his first or second season. Well he is batting .413 with 6 steals. People who are adding and dropping pitchers like crazy are starting to drop some they should have probably held. Now Cliff Lee was dropped in a couple leagues and after his performance today I thnik I may take him and keep him.

Nastia had almost perfect bars and beam routines. I really used to not like her, but I am starting to like her more now. Shawn and Shayla didn't even go to this competition and the U.S. still EASILY beat the other countries. I think there will be zero chance of anyone other than the U.S. winning the gold in the Olympics. They are too great this year. And a couple juniors looked great today too. They both kept having perfect landings and just seemed to not have many mistakes.

I just randomly noticed thie was on tv right now. It's the first time I think I've ever seen gymnastics be in high definition also. The last couple meets were shown in standard resolution.

What is your opinion of McGowan? It sucks I have #1 waivers becuase that should not warrant picking him up, but I need a starter because it's a daily league where I want to shove in and out 2 bench starters since I have 4 closers. It's a league where the ONLY thing I can improve right now is starting pitching. And even with that I am 2 wins from the top and near the top in whip and k's. I have almost all 50 offensive points. It's annoying that people keep picking up players to get easy k's and wins, but I say let them do it. That did nothing but hurt you last year also. You stayed near the bottom of e.r.a. and whip in the league you won. You won it becuase you had almost all offensive points. Picking up starters each week = bad e.r.a. and whip. You gain maybe 2 points in k's and 2 inw ins then could lose 4 in each on the ratios.,

Kind of sickening seeing what's happening. Knowing Upton was sitting right there on FA and I forgot to pick him up and now he is hitting over .400 with 5 homers. And also I was high on Sheets this year and then didn't draft him and he is doing great. One of my leagues I barely feel I have a chance in and it's only April! I only had 2 closers and then one of them went to the DL and nobody seems interested in trading them. And my 7 starters aren't doing as great as I thought either because of how horrible zambrano and verlander have been. Now all of my pitchers are having their leads blown too. Sigh.

Cool, still only me posting in here. Liriano called up, although espn analysts said earlier this spring that he most likely will not be worth anything this year. He is owned in all of my leagues, but if espn is right then he won;t do good again until next year.

Great. Now Verlander fell apart yet again. He only gave up 2 hits for 7 and 1/2 and now has totally fallen apart. So not only do I not get a win, but now he gave up too many runs for me to get a save from jenks. Gavin Floyd had a no-no through 7 and 1/3.

Someone told me that a source told him that Rose and CDR are staying. I would be extremely shocked if they do though. Rose is going to be AT WORST the #1 overall pick in the NBA draft. Personally if I were in his situation I would stay another year and enjoy the college setup becuase the NBA isn't even basketball... it's just a no defense imitation. But if he does what people tell him, he would go pro. I just think it sucks that people base everything on money and tell students what to do. So he will feel almost forced to go pro when it SHOULD be his decision, not people convincing him. CDR I think could stay becuase he won't be drafted high, but he does not have much to gain from staying in school, so who knows.

My very first drafted team has gained 27 and 1/2 points over the top team this week to tie me with him now. That is the team where I have had Pujols and Soriano struggling until now and honestly I think that is a killer team. It's my team with 4 closers, I ahve 46 and 1/2 of the 50 possible hitting points, and I have rj coming back ina few days. I think I am going to waive Kent for a base stealer for now, but I rerally need a starter. Oh and in the league where I got Lackey in the 18th round, he is now scheduled to be back within about 2-3 weeks rather than the 4-5 from this date it was originally scheduled at. Also players I decided not to trade for have proven to me I was wise not to. Someone kept offering me Oswalt and he got crushed today. I own sabathia nowhere. I turned down jeter deals. I am getting lucky so far with my decisions. Drew and Patterson are showing I was finally wise in using them as sleepers. Really the only things not going well thus far are zambrano and then the injuries to Harden and braves Soriano.
