Thanks for telling me in time (not). Now I wasted my #2 and not only that but I have FURCAL and BYRNES both in my ACTIVE lineup now and not a single single way to bench either of them and can't waive them becuase I am not throwing away my #2 pick like that. All I can do is hope to somehow deal my pitching and they keep ignoring me. I have bonderman, beckett, myers, halladay, zambrano, verlander, harden, johnson, penny, perez, and jenks. No way I am waiving one of those 11 pitchers. The only three ANYONE would consider waiving at this point are johnson (10 k's in 6 innings last game), bonderman (several good starts lately, twice they left him in too long to hurt his totals and he still had good starts), and myers. Myers is the only one performing badly enough to warrant even considering waiving at this point. Penny aint doing so hot either, but he was close in CY voting last year and has potential. Your advice is being crappy this year and my decisions are even crappier. In my other league though I had figgins ACTIVE through a lot of his injury and finally I got sick of it and picked up longoria to replace him in the lineup and the first day I had longoria he had 2 dingers and 6 batted in.

Oops just noticed I only have the #2 in the byrnes league also. The #1 guy is who waived him though and it's doubtful he would do that and pur;pposely waste his #1 to pick him right back up.

For Bruce I think I actually used a 2, not 1. But anyway.... Man my leagues are DISASTERS. I am 28 and 1/2 out in 2 leagues and almost 20 out in the other. lol I do like 2 of the 3 teams though. And that one team just needs time to go by before my aces get me stats (and yes they are aces, now your webb is struggling and your peavy is DLed meanwhile santana still underperforming)

Geremi Gonzalez Struck By Lightening
I easily remember Geremi Gonzalez from when he pitched for the Chicago Cubs. It was a time when I watched all of the cubs games before they made the dumb mistake of getting new commentators. Although I thought his name was spelled either Jeremy or Jeremi. So I guess they just gave a fake spelling of his name when he was in the majors. Anyway he was struck by lighening and killed at the age of 33.

I am going to use my #1s on Byrnes and Bruce. Maybe I am wrong to use one on Bruce, but it says he may have the impact that Braun had and it's a league where I am nearly 30 points out and have to try some moves. As usual you weren't here to give your opinions, but I need to just get some things changed in these leagues.

Byrnes was just released. Worth a 1?

Answer if I should use a #1 on any of those guys. I really haven't got anything valuable off FA except ludwick, was smart enough to waive patterson finally before his horrid recent games, waiving drew now, umm ichiro exploded in my one league, I havent had that great of luck in general though.

I feel like giving up on all of my teams for real. Too much work and annoying that nobody will trade.

Hope you had Harang in. He had 9 k's in relief. They should have just left him in. That many k's in 4 innings and only 63 pitches. He now surely will miss whatever next start he had scheduled (have it pushed back, anyway) so he might as well have finished it out with 100 pitches and his team now lost becuase of them taking him out too.

Smart Giants Manager
I don't remember who the Giants manager even is, but he did a smart thing today that other managers would not have done. I'm sure he was planning to do the normal managerial thing and use a different catcher for each end of the doubleheader today. Well Molina was 4 for 4 with 3 doubles and 3 batted in for the first game. So what does the manager do? He goes against the norm and starts him right back at catcher for game 2 also and he is rewarded by Moline going 2 for 3 and driving in 2 more. So for the day Molina finishes 6 for 7 with 5 runs batted in.

I'm not technically payng for forum software for it though. I was only testing it on tehre at one point. And I definitely am not paying the high price for more forum software considering how these two sites have worked out activity-wise.

Grizzlies Lose Out Yet Again
Once again the Memphis Grizzlies had bad luck for the nba draft lottery. They will only get the #5 pick which is nothing compared to the top 2 this year. I expect Derrick Rose of Memphis to be the #1 pick though since the Bulls gett it and he is from Chicago and idolized Michael Jordan. Besides the #2 team wants Rose badly, so why let them have him? At worst Chicago can draft Rose and deal him to Miami for Beasley and more.

The Fantasy Gymnastics Thread
There probably isn't technically such a thing, although I could probably make something. lol Or people could pick a gymnast for each event in the olympics and then the score they get in those events add all together and the person with most points wins. I need to add fantasy sports to the sports betting system. It would be too much to do a total fantasy sports thing with drafts and teams for any sport probably, but I could make something where you select players each day and points are added up or something. Something simple.

Injury Reports
John Smoltz is hurt worse than thought and thus I should have held on to Soriano as he will be the closer again soon. Peavy is now on the DL.

Lester Throws No-Hitter
Yesterday Red Sox starter John Lester threw a no-hitter. Not long ago he had cancer.

Daily Discussion
Berkman got steal #8 and 2 more hits today. All of my pitchers just flat keep struggling. Also there is NOW AY I would have drafted Vladimir if not for the fact that Aaron drafted him and claimed last year he was coming off steroirds, thus causing me to think he changed his mind about him and now I dumbly drafted him also and he is doing absolutely zippo.
