  1. Someone offered me morneau and someone else for soriano, but the other player was someone bad, I think. By the way I could tell aramis was about to get hot and it was too late to offer for him before he started doing good unfortunately.
  2. I think Soriano is better if his injury heals. Of course he also had a broken finger this spring also.
  3. You keep ignoring all of my questions. I don't know. I am not sure what Soriano will do when he comes back. I have never been a big Lee fan, but he usually produces. Gioefully Soriano will be back in like 5 days.
  4. All 5 starters are now going to try to go pro. Anderson and Dozier now announced their intent to. As good of a recruiting class as we have I still would be worried next year if all 5 starters are gone.

http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/1A00407C...5EF8?brand=ncaa= The South Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games will be here at the Fedex Forum. Unfortunately I am pretty sure Memphis can't play in that region now. I'm confused about the rules. I know you can't play in your OWN exact arena the first 2 rounds, but maybe you can when it gets to this level. I doubt it though. So thatw ould mean no matter how good Memphis does next year they can't be in the Sotuh I guess? Tickets are $166 and I am considering getting some.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but without a general thread like this if I wanted to talk about something that happened each day I had to be all disorganized posting it in unrelated topics or else make a new topic for each thing, which would have just made it a lot of topics with no repolies as it is now.

There is not really a topic for just general discussion from day to day about baseball so I am making this to discuss interesting things going on from time to time. Main interesting thing yesterday was that Werth had an inside the park homerun and then the very next batter, Utley, hit one out of the park in the traditional way. Back to back inside outside. Utley still leads the majors with 9 homeruns.

nba: 80/100 65/100 24/50 3s 2/10 half courts I started out 1 for 1 and 2 for 4 on the half courts, so I could have stopped to have high percentages. lol I made one one-handed half court shot and one two-handed swish half court shot. I made tons of different types of shots. For instance on 3 pointers something was in my way so for a lot of shots I was fading left and it made my shoulders get into a position where I knew shots were going to keep falling. Then I made some moving forward as usual also. For the free throws I made every type shot imaginable too. Ones that hung on the rim. ones that bounced several times on the rim. Swishes. And one hit the rim, bounced high above, then went in. Another sat on the rim forever and looked like it was rolling in and suddenly it magically switched directions and fell off. Also for my first 100 it was important to me to get 80 and I had to nail the final 9 to get it. Three or four different times I thought I missed and I had amazing bounces.

I think it is pretty clear I was wrong about Utley's value and I am glad I drafted him. He is a second baseman and now leads the entire major leagues in homeruns while batting nearly .350. The only league I had a chance to draft him in and didn't do it was a league I took david wright in, so I don't feel bad about that pick either. In the league aaron said I ahd a horrible draft in I have manny and utley going nuts and then 9 unbelievable starting pitchers.

Well now even this part of the site is dead because Aaron disappeared, but anyway... it's annoying I keep getting trade offers from people that I JUST TOLD THEM I am not interested in. And not only that... even with the horrible offers they are making they immediately withdraw them in a lot of cases. So I guess they think they aren't ripping me off enough in them if I were to accept. lol

nba: 66/100 63/100 78/100 68/100 64/100 21/50 3s in pitch black 1/5 half court in pitch black (one handed actually a foot inside so not quite half court, but I never technically measured out to half court anyway so it may have been that far still).

    Couple days ago, nba: 72/100 21/50 3s
  13. I think I really messed up. Lee is doing unbelievable. I should have taken myers and dropped owings, but then kept lee and not picked up bonderman I guess.

The same players get hurt every year. Now Sheets got hurt. So he and harden have got their normal injuries, cain had his normal HORRID outing, now the only ones left to have something go wrong are beckett blister, griffey injury, and not sure what else. rj already has been hurt as usual too.
  15. Jason replied to Jason's topic in Baseball
I'll definitely be in some trouble in one of my leagues tomorrow morning. I had both cain and arroyo in my lineup. lol And the sad part is that I have Lee, but it's a weekly league so I couldn't use him today and he is the one of the three actually doing good.
  16. Great. Now look what Cliff Lee is doing since I had to drop him for Myers. And even if he clears waivers I have no way at all to pick him up unless I drop bonderman or harden.

What a weird ending. The game ends in 22 innings with the tying runner on base becuase the Padres had to let their pitcher bat. lol So the pitcher was retired to end the game, while batting as the winning run.
  18. Now that the final game finally ended, I can say I am officially now 6 and 1/2 out after starting the day 23 and 1/2 out.
  19. No dl spot, just the 2 bench slots. It would be hard to drop Harden because he has k'd like 15 in 2 games and has an under 1 e.r.a.. I would need to see him come back and do bad tow arrant waiving him. I waived Owings and Lee both and got Myers and Bonderman. And now I just picked up Delgado as a FA. It's kind of weird how many big names keep clearing waivers. I know Delgado is not "great" anymore, but too good to pass waivers I would think. By the way all year I have been near the top of 2 leagues and at the bottom of the other. In fact even starting today I was 23 and 1/2 back and in 8'th place. Well today alone I jumped from 8'th place to 2'nd place and the last time I checked I went from 23 and 1/2 back to 7 back in this 1 day also. lol So I am starting to feel good becuase I have steroid using Ortiz rotting away my average and verlander doing horrible and yet I somehow got from 8'th all the way up to second now so I am right where I want to be in all leagues. This is the difference between this year and last year. I said I would destroy teams this year and you would be wise not to do a league with me and indeed unlike last year I have no distractions and am starting out good right off the bat. Even with these guys such as motor city picking up pitchers every DAY over and over I still am near the top and they are near the bottom.

As I type this, the Padres and Rockies are still tied and in the 20'th inning.
  21. Wow, I got Myers and Bonderman both. Now the problem is I had tow aive Pierre and Cliff Lee. And now I can't get my roster legal unless I waive bonderman back or waive owings. So I only have a few minutes to decide whether it's worthw aiving Owings! So my starting rotation now has 10 great starters at the moment: Beckett, Zambrano, Verlander, Halladay, Harden, Oliver, Penny, Myers, Bonderman, and Owings. Nine of those are #1 or #2 starters. lol This is the league I am near the bottom of and I am so loaded I am bound to get everything I need if I keep waiting for people to deal for them. Jenks is my only active closer, but he is carrying me. I drafted him by ACCIDENT.

  23. The top uncommited basketball prospect (ranked #4 overall by scout.com and #6 overall by rivals.com) has chosen Memphis as his school for the upcoming season.
  24. Now even rotoworld knows Torre is not smart in his decisions. They keep making fun of him using pierre at all over his other outfielders. They say "even torre" is smarter thanh benching kemp today instead of ethier. I wish Pierre would be traded. I guess I need to waive him. Rotoworld may think he is so horrible, but it's someone who can steal 50+ any year. He deserves to play somewhere.
  25. This is your topic and when I have questions you never answer. The only way I can pick up Brett Myers is tow aive Cliff Lee or Micah Owings. There is just no other option. Or drop Pierre and decide tomorrow which starter tow aive and pick a hitter back up. Regardless these 2 starters have been doing great and I will ahve to lose one and my #1 slot for Myers or Bonderman.
