Ok here's my question. This is for CBS league I have Arod. I also drafted Beltre as a utility slot. Some guy wants arod from me bad. He has already offered me Pedro,Ensberg and Huff. I think I could get Matsui out of him as well if I add another playter in. Here's my hitters as of now Howard, Figgins,Arod,reyes,berkman, burrell,gathright,gomes and 'sigh, shawn green. Beltre and Thome are utility. Pitching is zito, schilling, mulder, escobar, D Cabrera, valverde, Street, Gonzalez. So I need another good OF I think. I have SBs locked up with reyes, figgins and gathright. I would like to do something like Arod, Green for ensberg, pedro, huff and matsui.

I'm not sure if it was just the lsu game that didnt pay out. when I left last night, I had 7380pts. I made 1 bet today. So I totaled up what I won yesterday and that should be 1000 pts, including the 300 you said u put in for the WS game. Here's the breakdown Duke +200 BC +200 WS +300 Gonzaga + 200 LSU + 100 for the push Total 1000 With the 1 bet I made this morning I should have 8280 pts. I did make 1 other post not including this one so I'm short 200 pts.

The big difference in the FT thing is that Calipari probobly has them practice a ton during the season. This time of year there is no more practice until the weekend is over.

I did great the second day. First day had alot more upsets. Got my bets in for today's games and I went with a couple upsets. I have a strong feeling Duke will lose to GW but I just couldnt put the bet down. I did bet on Tenn to lose.

Yea it was the main game here. Bige east plus the local team Monmouth so it does make sense to a point but gimme a break. I think most people watch the tournament to see the best games not local coverage.

I was glued to my seat during the Uconn game. I wouldve loved to see Albany upset them and be the first 16 seed to knock off a 1. Plus they have the coolest looking unis in the tournament. Side Note to CBS. Your coverage this year sucks Chef's Chocolate salty balls. They leave the stupid Villanova game on when they are by by 14 instead of switching to the Memphis game. I understand broadcasting by region but WTF.

I have 50 bucks on Cuba at 25-1 odds. So if they can somehow pull a major upset vs the dominicans I win a nice $1250. Plus they make a real nice cigar.

Those are some pretty weak options but it will only be a matter of time before you find a quality replacement. Thats what your usually good at. Everybody wants a power and speed guy. Unfortunately there are only a handful of them available. I would narrow down the choice to Kinsler, Hawpe or Ibanez. Kinsler is one of my sleeper picks for second base and could finish with 280/15/70. His numbers will be a lil higher if he bats second and maybe a bit lower if he bats 8th or 9th. Hawpe plays in Colorado so you know he will get bursts of power out of him. Right now he is injured with a groin injury so if you choose him, pay close attention to that. Also Ryan Shealy will be pushing him for playing time if he gets off to a rough start or misses any signifigant time. Ibanez is a solid option. You know what you'll get out of him every year. He's no stud but always seems to produce around a 290/20/85 season. Jones still can't hit lefties. Roberts will always be a risk because of his hamstrings.(already tweaked it) Swisher is an option just not one of my top 3. Reed and Burke are having nice springs so they might be the leader in the second tier of options to provide speed but not much else. Definetly would take the risk on them over roberts.

New question from Jason in an email. Delmon Young got Demoted to AAA so I need to drop him and pick somebody up. I need Power and Speed. Some options are kinsler, jacque jones, swisher, burnitz, hawrpe, kennedy, burke, reed, roberts and Ibanez.

Pacific shoulda won. They just got tired during the second OT. They had their chances to win the shots just didnt fall. BC made a lot of mistakes down the stretch in regulation and the 1st OT.
