I figured it was a fluke all along. I hate them because 2 people I have talked to extensively online both love them. And these people are asses to me, so I can't stand any teams they like. They were actually my favorite team in 1005 and 1996 though because my favorite player (Jose Canseco) was on the Red Sox. I have a Red Sox garbage can in my room and a poster of Jose on the Red Sox. lol I sure hate them now though. Honestly, I pretty much can't stand the Yankees or Torre either though. Probably more than the Red Sox though. A couple people here are big Yankees fans. Aaron and Chels. Chels hasnt been here since November though.

#1 Ohio State easily beat #2 Texas 24-7. So much for Texas winning another national championship. Most likely, anyway. I doubt they would win the rest of their games, and if they did... theys till may not be in the national championship game.

This sure sucks. In the 3 leagues I am winning... they could be won with under 70, under 70, and 77 and 1/2. Yet in my league I am LOSING in, I have a 78 and 1/3, which would win any of those other 3, yet has me about 5-6 points back in that particular league! In all leagues there are plenty points for me to gain. But the question is can I pick up the right players to get those points and hopefully others keep the other contenders from gaining more points.

I doubt any of those will be other than Delmon. Chris Duffy is on fire though, with 2 homers and 4 steals in the past 2 days and he had 11 or 12 steals last month.

Aaron, tell me some players you think will be hot or are currently hot who could possibly be free agents in some leagues. I mainly need batting average guys and runs scored. I could always use other categories, but mainly those. Or even some good pitchers. Just want your opinions, because it seems like every high average or run scorer player I pick up suddenly goes into a slump.

Things not going as planned for me. *sigh* The league I thought was an automatic win for me almost all season and was up by almost 20 points in a few weeks ago, I am now only up by 4 points and I see at least 5 points he can gain. The good news is I see 10+ I could gain hopefully also. Another league I was leading by 12 points a week or two ago, I am now only up by 4 in. A league I was close in all season I now lead by 10+ points. My final big dollar league, I was winning not long ago and now I am 2 back. I guess it's good that my worst team of the 4 is only 2 points out of first place though. But it's stressful that 3 of the 4 teams are within 4 points of a tyeam and the other team isn't an automatic win yet either. I keep making whatever moves I can think of.

I got them all right for 300. You keep asking me to put new games up for bet, so I did it assuming you would bet, then I just end up giving myself more points. lol

Just to get this started back up, I put in a few games for today which I thought would be close or meaningful. college football: California vs. Tennessee major league baseball: Toronto vs. Boston, Cincinnati vs. San Diego I added categories for such things as golf, NFL, gymnastics, and will put more things to bet on as the site gets more active.

Games have already been played, but obviously today is the first Saturday in the college football season! If enough interest would ever show up, I could pay to add this feature where you can do a "pick 'em" for the season. I guess we would have to skip the current week though and possibly more weeks, depending on when people would join who like football.

Aaron is scared to post in here apparently. I have gone through some things lately to cause me to miss picking up Lidge in some leagues and also some other big name guys. I forgot someone else was waived too. I slipped and had only 1 team in first at one point. But now I am in first in 2 by quite a margin and then I am 1/2 and 2 and 1/2 out in the other 2. So I think I have positioned myself nicely to be within 3 points in ALL big money leagues on August 29'th with nobody allowed to trade anymore to try to catch me in thatw ay.

When people were here for my brother's graduation I went ouside and wasn't feeling good and my little cousin told people I am so great that I made shots from way back. (around half-court or further and fof to the side) and I was like "I didnt make them there did I?" and they told me to shoot anyway and I made my first shot from back there right after I said i didnt remember doing it. lol

Wow I didn't realize that last month we got the #47 best prospect in the nation, which is VERY unheard of for July right before the season is coming up. He was with national champions Florida starting this coming season, but didn';t meet some guideines and now we have another star on our team.

U of M opens their basketball season on November 20'th against Oklahoma in Hawaii. There are a few great teams in that tournament, such as Kentucky and UCLA. We can pay UCLA back for kicking us in the elite 8 last season because of our terrible shooting that game.

I still lead all leagues, but 3 of them are by 3 or less points I believe. I have stayed up at the top for a fair amount of time in all fo these though. In one league I ahd to bench Crede because I am too loaded to fit everyone in my lineup and he has been scorching on my bench this week.

15 teams scored 3 or less runs Tuesday. In fact there were 2 finals of 1-0 and one final of 2-0 also.

What's weird is in 1 league I am up by 12 and in another league the 7'th place guy is only 12 points behind me.

It's finally happened. I am officially in first in all of them now, which would mean $14,000.

For the first time all season I am now in first or tied for first in ALL four leagues. I am ahead in 3 and tied in 1. So I guess if it ended today they would split the 1 in half and I would thus win $12,250 if it ended now. It is going to be a crying shame if I don't win at least 3 of those 4 when I have amde it this far.
