Bowl Picks
Here are my picks. So far I am 02-0) and my cousin annoyingly decided not to do it, so next time I am only trusting if someone else runs this. I will probably get most right since he backed out of doing the contest. TCU BYU Rice (thought about picking Troy) South Florida San Jose State Tulsa Hawaii Central Michigan Florida State Oklahoma State Texas A&M Rutgers Clemson Oregon State South Carolina Texas Tech Maryland Boston College Texas Georgia Miami Tennessee Auburn Georgia Tech Wisconsin Michigan Oklahoma Louisville LSU Cincinnati Southern Miss Ohio State (total points: 54)

Hot Stove Baseball
I heard on Conan that the Dodgers signed Jason Schmidt. I didn't even know they had.

Hot Stove Baseball
Dave Roberts signs with Giants. Giants don't offer Bonds arbitration. Guillen close to signing with Mariners.

Hot Stove Baseball
The cubs would finally have something good in him if they could ever keep their pitching healthy, aramis healthy, and lee healthy. And they have pierre too (I think, isnt he still a cub?) so they could be good. Wood probably will be the closer, I am guessing. Soriano could possibly warrant being drafted first in the draft next year by playing at a good ballpark.

Glad you posted some again. I always thought it was cool when you and Megan would talk about your skills and competitions.

University Of Memphis
We won by 42 in our first game of the season. Now off to Hawaii to play Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Ex-Marlin Girardi, Tigers' Leyland are top managers
Funny how stupid the marlins manager was to fire the winner. Ego gonna make his team go down and him lose money.

Verlander and Ramirez 2006 ROYs
Things sure turned out horrible for Liriano. Not even geting ROY , didn't play in playoffs, and done for 2007 already.

Hot Stove Baseball
If anyone even came here, I would combine all of those. But oh well, might as well let the post count go up when nobody else is posting ehre lately.

Rutgers Football
You didn't ho to Rutgers. Only to visit maybe. My uncle and dad wanted Louisville to win. WHy, when they had always eben a hated rival of Memphis, I have no clue. I see you are using default skin and helped me realize that some smilies are in that one and not the black one. I better update the black skin.

University Of Memphis
Derrick Rose, the #1 point guard in all of high school basketball and a consensus top 5 player overall nationally, has chosen Memphis over Indiana and Illinois for next season, even though we already have a top freshman point guard starting this season also.

Minnesota Twins
Forgot to mention this a couple days ago, but Francisco Liriano is done for 2007. Talk about a huge blow to fantasy baseball. Especially keeper leagues.

2006 World Series
Tigers sure flopped. Verlander is always talked up and he did terrible in both of his starts.

2006 World Series
I am guessing now the Cards will win in game 6 with Carpenter, tigers win tonight. edit:oops, Carpenter would be game 7 starter. I think if Detroit wins tonight, they probably will win again in game 6, then St. Louis would win Game 7.

Mike Tyson has recently said he now wants to box against women. lol

2006 World Series
The St. Louis Cardinals (the most struggling team entering the playoffs) beat the Mets (tied for the best record in baseball this season) in Game 7 of the playoffs tonight to advance to the World Series. The Detroit Tigers have been done with their playoff series for a while now. I feel like it's a big choke that the mets could not beat a team with only Pujols (injured) and Rolen (injured) for their offense (in fact Molina and Pujols were the only regulars to finish with greater than a .240 average in the series) and then only Carpenter (did terrible both starts) as their only top starter and no true closer on the team. World Series Prediction: Tigers in 5.

2006 MLB Playoffs
If La Russa were wise, he would save Carpenter until game 7 now. But I am sure he won't. He shouldn't have used him when he did in the first series either, but he still did it. If he were to save him until game 7, if cardinals win game 6, Carp could start game 1 of WS.

2006 MLB Playoffs
I said I probably would have picked them IN THE BEGINNING. I didn't say I still couldn't make my mind up. I am thinking they have a big advantage in WS also since hese rainouts and the series for NL going 6-7 games. It's hard to pick detroit over the Mets though, or even the cardinals really.

2006 MLB Playoffs
You can count whatever you want, but I am leaning towards thinking the cardinals could win. If Oliver sucks, then they would be up 3-1 with Carpenter still in the hole. So either team could win now.
