You know what's weird is when I am shooting actual shots instead of free throws, this one shot I ALWAYS make. If I start from left of the goal and move laterally left to right (facing the backboard, not coming facing the rim from the side) and I shoot from that weird angle it always goes in.

In my league I am nearly 40 out in I just got sick of it and dealt ortiz/jenks for pujols and broxton for duechner or w/e his name is. Now trying to deal hoffman and putz. I even have utley and manny up on the block. My team is full of great players yet I am almost 40 out! I am gonna have 11 starters and have 4 of them be rotating where i add and drop 4 almost every day there are 4 ok ones available. I have no chance, but I might as well have fun and load up on guys like nuts and see where it gets me.

I have both of those on one of the two teams I am trying to come back in, but it is a daily league where pitching can't help as easily with these people picking up and dropping pitchers every DAY. I see enough points to be gained in 2 leagues. However, it looks to me to BARELY be enough and I keep hanging around the same amoutn out for a month now. My problem is I have absolutely AWESOME pitching and I then ruined it by keeping oliver and myers and rj when all three were doing bad. Waived them and they did good for other people. And adding and dropping to get 2 star pitchers in the weekly league ruins me also. So having GREAT starters is still having me WAY behind in pitching categories because of stupid back end starters.

I can't get any done and then all those dumb moves. I feel I still have a chance in 2 leagues, but I am nearly 30 out in them so it's still a stretch.

Braves showing how dumb it is to take out stars when down by a lot of runs. They are down 12-7 in the eighth inning and a no-name is batting instead of Texiera since he was taken out innings back. If he were up now and would homer, it would be 12-11 just like that.

I need to just never do daily leagues again. No matter how much time someone has, who wants to spend every day trying to beat out other owners to pick up pitchers? Thus I ahven't done that and it's killing my stats in k's and wins. It's just a ridiculous type of setup since they have no limit on innigns pitched. It's stupid. The best stats don't win because everyone keeps loading up and having horrid stats other than the 2 which aren't received by doing smart decisions, but rather by bulk ending up eventually adding totals. edit: see even when I do add them in weekly leagues those end up bad too. Marquis is falling aprt right now. It's hard to have any move go right this year.

Pierre activated. Ortiz activated. Both Sorianos activated. Carpenter did great for Memphis tonight and should be activated next week. Young should be activated next week. The only good player I can think of who is injured and not activated and will be fairly soon would be Vernon Wells.

Yahoo is weird. On their mlb page they have pitchers with e.r.a. of 6+ for the past week listed as hot and a pitcher with under 3 e.r.a. is on the not hot list. A hitter who hit over .400 for the week is on their cold hitters list also...

Mclouth for santana is horrible. If you don't think so then stop saying Santana is "above all other starters" like you usually say. I think Young is more valuable than Bourn rationally, but TRUE value-wise Bourn is obviously more valuable or Young would be owned by more people.

Some mroon just said I am "an idiot" for offering him Michael Bourn for Chris R. Young. Guess he doesn't comprehend that Young is owned by LESS owners than Bourn. Idiot. Also recently he offered me Mclouth straightup for Santana. I am going to refuse to trade with him from this point forward becuase both of those actions were just too stupid to deal with.

Wow I wish it wasn't so hot because I started nailing so many in a row I bet I could have beat my record. But the heat index is 99 so I didn't want to push myself. During the first 100 I made more than 30 in a row. During my next 100 I finished by nailing 46 of the final 50! 76/100 79/100

Yeah maybe I am bad luck since last time Hollie was who I wanted to make the team and then she got hurt also. Shayla has had a ton of injuries though.

It got one less protest than needed and thus executed. Glad I didn't do it a couple days earlier or I would have had that bad Valverde performance.

Thanks. May jujst have to drop him/them. I don't know. Now I just dealt Cliff Lee and Felix Hernandez for Albert Pujols and Jose Valverde. And after I did it I realized I shouldn't have done it. I have dunn, manny, vladimir, and texiera all getting extremely hot now. Now I am left with santana, peavy, lackey, cain for my starters and will have to find others on free agency I guess or else deal some of my offense for those middle tier guys. So my pitching isn't bad since it has 3 studs at the top, however the question is "why" do it when my offense is heating up and I need a lot of wins. And this is a league where I waived c.j. wilson and a lot of closers sit on free agency. So valverde is nice, but not as valuable as usual. I wanted to deal cain instead of hernandez. Also Hernandez faces Boston this week and although he dominated them last time, I have a feeling I should bench him, which means I won't even get a last start out of him yet won't get anything in place of him for this week either.

Well hopefully Soriano does or I still have only 3 closers and in 1 league I waived cj wilson to pick up Zimmerman because I had just added Soriano.

The "experts" just change things around constantly. They said Isringhausen would close soon and he didn't. They said Soriano would close when he gets back and now they say "don't expect him to close". They can't make up their minds, but hey anything related to cbs sports is ridiculous.

Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liukin, Bridget Sloan, Chelssie Memmel, Sam Peszek and Alicia Sacramone were selected to be on the U.S. gymnastics Olympic team. Very surprising that Jana was not selected and that Sloan was. Also Shayla was not even named an alternate, let alone one of the main six! This is the third olympics in a row where the main one I liked didn't even make the Olympic team. Vanessa Atler, Hollie Vise, Shayla Worley.

Only starter offered with arod was a bad one. Also now I am not dealing Lackey or Hernandez after they once again had dominant starts today.
