On tv you are probably seeing the other game called "MLB 2006: The Show". I thought that was this one too. The graphics on this one look even worse than that. I sure hope it is just coming off different on the comp, but it sure looks terrible to me. All these weird looking people and fans!

They didnt take balks out, but just never put them in any of their games I think. I guess I see your point on the first 2, but there must be some reason a fan asked if they put it in the game yet.

Some features I think are cool for this game:

1. Snap throws by catchers in first person.

2. In hard plays where more than 1 fielder are running at full speed for a ball, you must call off the other guy with a button or you may collide and get hurt.

3. It keeps up with player morale, but unlike EA's MVP game, you can DO something about it, such as call team meetings or do a lot of other cool things to make them happy.

4. Swing stick sounds nice. Pull it back at windup just like a player would be pulling his bat back into position in real life. Then release to swing.

Some other cool things also, but I only remember these right now. So the game may be FUN. If it IS, then i dont care one thing about graphics. I still like baseball stars for NES and it is obviously only 8 bit graphics.

Those are for 2k6. 2k6 is the licensed one. But for some reason this other game apparently has real names too. So i dont understand it. 2k6 is the only GC one though so I dont care about the show.

It comes out in a week for xbox, so you can try it and review it or something. Not out for GC for 4 weeks.

Yes it does. It shows 1 big picture and then up above there is a lil button that says NEXT. If you click on that it will show more screenshots. Only page I went to was the link you posted.

MV NCAA is rated only 8.0 and says the espn influence is barely noticable. I wouldnt want a college one anyway.

Game out in 2 days for ps2 and xbox owners. I am thinking it wont be as good as mvp, unfortunately. but I never can hit well on mvp, so I dont play it anymore. So maybe I would still rather have this.

Doubt I will pick it up. Havent had real time for video games in such a long time.

IGN gave this a 7.3 and said the defense and baserunning is "an embarrassment". So I am sad because now that means either get a crappy game or else play nothing for another year. One magazine gave it an 8.5m but IGN is believed more than them.
