USA Championships!!!
Thanks much for the piece of info, Megan. That may persuade me from writing to her. But it can't hurt to try writing even if I don't get a response. But Makayla is quite talented nonetheless. Speaking of responses, I have another quick question for anyone: Should you send an envelope with all your home info with a stamp or should you tell them your info and include a stamp w/o the envelope? Because when I wrote to Nastia she totally gave me a different envelope and used her own stamp. So I just want to be sure.

USA Championships!!!
Whoops. I didn't mean Stageburg, I mean Stambaugh. *Feels embarassed* I don't know what I was thinking, last names look alike in a way. My bad. ^_^ I'll change that now. I wouldn't write to your penpal, that'd be kind of mean of me.

USA Championships!!!
Ahh yes, I'm definitely writing to Juniors tomorrow or some time this week. I think they deserve more congrats than they get from the rest of America. Plus, after seeing the letters Megan gets I feel a jealous. ^_^ j/k I'm definitely writing to Ashley, I think that'd be appropriate. Then I'm going to write to two of the following: Bianca, Tessa, Worley, Shawn, Stambaugh, Shoji, or even Natasha. I just haven't decided yet, kind of hard to choose because they're all so talented. Heck, I might write to them all. Also, excellent choices for the gymnasts your writing to, Jamie.

USA Championships!!!
Yeah, Kelley did go crazy. I was very surprised she did so well, after reading GymnStands gave her the ranking of 5th. That was a pleasent surprise. Now Natasha will have to get a spiffier website than she has because some of the hit's she'll get for winning. Congrats to all medal winners! And I feel so, so, so bad for Ashley. She was my choice to take it all. I guess that wasn't the greatest pick. But if she was uninjured she'd probably kick! ^_^ Quick question to anyone: Is NBC showing Women's Senior live tonight or is that tomorrow and showing Juniors tonight? Either way I'll have to watch it in my basement because my family aren't really a gym-fan people.

USA Championships!!!
Shayla is awesome. Can't be dissapointed with a 3rd place though. It's still better than 4th and below. She did quite well today, she can be proud about that, even though she's probably upset with her beam (IG1 forgot to put her routine up so I didn't know she even did a beam until I went I on IG2 :D ). Close but not close enough. Tessa got a 8.816, that seems quite low buy the way of the descriptions of her routine and her 9.9 SV. But I'm not a judge and didn't see it and I'm a beginner at gymnastics knowledge so what do I know. ^_^ Congrats to all Juniors on their performances! And a special congrats to Natasha! Can't wait to see their videos and I can't wait for the Seniors tonight either! Go Nastia and Jana! *Waves novelty flag in the air*

USA Championships!!!
That is crazy, I saw that article was on SI.com. Stinks for her competitors that she was born when she was. Congrats on Bianca for coming in current 2nd! Shoji's FX is now, hope she does well. IG just put Kelly's the new Junior champ no matter what! Congrats to the U.S.A. Junior Gymnastics Champion, Natasha Kelley! EDIT: :o Shoji fell!!! Man, that's terrible! *Waits to see score*...8.766!!! Oh my! She must feel terrible!!! Now that just opens up things quite a bit! Tess couls move up! *Waits for score*

USA Championships!!!
Natasha got a 9.45 on FX! Looks like she's going to win unless Worley can pull the DTY, but unlikely. Congrats to her onprobably being the champ. Good to hear Ranzy doens't have any fractures, that's great to hear! They screwed up on Peszeck's score. It should be a 63.548, no 65.548 after the 3rd rotation. ^_^

USA Championships!!!
Jana Bieger is definitely a bright star in the world of gymnastics this year, she's one of the people I'm planning on writing to when nationals are done. If she performs like she did last night, she may have an excellent chance take the title. But it's still way too close to tell for Seniors. Bianca got a 9.416 on her FX! Congratulations to her! Hopefully Worley can meet, or preferably beat, that score. Natasha's floor exercise is in the process right now...

USA Championships!!!
Yeah. Shayla's killing (not literally) everyone today. Glad to see she's doing so well, wish she could've done this well yesterday too. She could've win indefinitely if she had. Natasha had a wobble and a step in her BB. That's no good...*Page refreshes*...9.533! Holy wow! Congrats to her! If she continues this way she could very well win! Gah, too close. EDIT: Well, Natasha's in the lead but just barely. Too intense, I can't wait until the enxt rotation.

USA Championships!!!
Yeah. Injuries are terrible. I especially feel sorry for them after experiencing one. Uh oh. Flohr took a big step forward on her dismount for BB. That might open up the 1st fight a bit if the score isn't great. Nevermind, a 9.333 is still a good score. Never mind what I just said. ^_^ EDIT: Yay for Tessa! If Shoji screws up a bit, she could very well move up.
-
USA Championships!!!
That's the exact same score that she got at the classics. That does seem odd, maybe one of the judges just didn't like it. But by that description it sounds like she could've scored better. Oh well. But her weakest events are coming up. Hope she can nail them even though the SV isn't that great. Yay for Bianca! She's in the lead! And Shayla moved up nicely as well. Gosh, it's going to be close by the look of the scores.

USA Championships!!!
Yay for Shayla! It looks like Ranzy hurt her elbow, hope it's ok. The juniors are just getting beat up this weekend. Well I'm happy NBC is doing men's too. I was a bit perplexed looking at the TV guide, thought it was a repeat at first but then I looked at the subtext and it said men's. Kind of surprised by that. ^_^ So that awesome!

Go PACK!
Packer's do rock! Green and Gold are the best colors ever. Our schools is green and gold and we're right down the street from Lambeau. Heck, Packer's even gave us game pants for our football team to wear! Packer's rock my world! :D I so want a job doing something there; that'd be a dream come true. I think I'll apply somewhere there in the next few weeks. And if people aren't convinced Packer's rock, here are some special Packer fans (or so I hope their fans), but the pics are cool nonetheless. Clickity Gah, I wish I would've went to that tour. ^_^ And it looks like our punter is finally doing well! Congrats to Sander!

Go VIKES!
Congrats, congrats on winning. Did your rookie play? *Looks at stats* Looks like not - hopefully he will recover from his ankle injury soon and hope he does well. he could be a big help to my fantasy team.

USA Championships!!!
What a coincidence, I just saw Tessa's FX for prelims too! I just absolutely love her dance moves! That's something I rarely see with other gymnasts. No wonder why you love her so much, Megan. And that commentator on the videos, Abomb I think is his name, just kills me. And her whole routine was fun to watch (it makes it even better because she smiles so much) and I could actually point out some skills, so I must be learning something about gymnastics from Gymstand. ^_^ Oh, and congrats to Thorton winning the National title!

USA Championships!!!
A small update on Ashley Priess: I was reading some articles and found out she withdrew from the competition because of a 6 inch gash that was down to the bone. :o And now she is working with a plastic surgeon to fix it. That must be terrible. Hope she recovers fast. And she was my pick to win it all. *Sigh* Priess = Junior Champion in my heart.

USA Championships!!!
Well you can't blame the human mind, or for my mind at least, for the unpopularity of men's gymnastics. I mean people maybe kind of skeptic about a guy in a leotard compared to a girl. Kind of reminds me of volleyball, the guy version isn't popular because of all the tight shorts and such. But men's gymnastics is definitely more dynamic. Personally if there were a uni-sex person (odd, yes) they would probably have to build up a lot more strength to do men's events than women's. But one plus for women's gym is it looks more graceful, which is probably another reason it's more popular. And maybe when you, or at least I, think of gymnastics, I think of women's events (FX, BB, UB, VT) more than men's (HB, VT, PH, FX). Anywho, go USA! ^_^ ^ Not sure if that was on topic but I said it anyways. :D

USA Championships!!!
Seniors prelims are up! Yay for our Wisconsin gymnast, Chellsie. She's doing quite well now, leading after 3 rotations. All the top places don't seem to surprise me. ^_^ But Nastia must've really screwed up on her beam, I guess falling on dismount doesn't help, but everything else she did is well. Hopefully she can rub it off for finals. Go Nast, Chellsie, and Jana!

Go PACK!
Heh. No offense taken there. That's is sad that that happened but oh well. There's still a ton of Lambeau mystique here to share with everyone. But I wish the Vikes luck this year though. I like them a lot better than the Bears. -_- *Hails the fr*cking cheese heads* w00t! Glad to see another supporter. We do rock. Heck, we didn't win just the first Superbowl but the first TWO. Shows how shows how great we are. :D We just rule all around. *Puts on cheesehead again* I also hope Favre doesn't retire also. He's going to be almost impossible to replace. But I know a lot of people in Chicago, whenever I go there, that tell me they wouldn't mind him retiring. :o <_< lol That's a pretty good pun there, Jason. lol Too bad it's not happening this year because we rule. Did anyone see the recent issue of Sports Illustrated with the photo of Packer's practice? Yeah, that was good stuff with the parking lot almost maxed out and all the Railbirds. Go us! ^_^ EDIT: Gosh I type slow. This isn't the best place for the post. Sorry about that.
-
Go PACK!
Yep. I deided to start a thread about my favorite team, the Green Bay Packers! Yep, this year we're going all the way; Superbowl or Bust! *Puts on cheesehead and waves novelty flag in the air* ^_^ We have a Pre-Game tonight and the street infront of my house is nearly packed. We have the best fans, no question about it. :D So do we have anymore cheesehead fans here?

USA Championships!!!
Golly gee that Grandi. He definitely screwed up Gymnastics for the ages. <_< *Grabs pitchfork and a torch (j/k)* That really stinks about Sam too. Hope she does well this weekend. Wee! Go all juniors! I can't say I have a favorite junior and they all seem extremely talented. Go everyone! ^_^

Go VIKES!
I really don't know what to say nice about the Vikings, since me being across the border and living You-Know-Where and rooting for You-Know-Who. If I can't say anything nice, say nothing at all is what I'm told. Umm...I guess congrats you have Darren Sharper and I hope your rookie reciever does well because he's on my fantasy team. Other than that I have nothing more nice to say. :D
-
USA Championships!!!
Gosh I don't know much about Men's Gymnasts/ics, guess that's even more I'll have to learn. ^_^ I don't even know who to root for. Hmm...Golden seems to be doing well, I think I'll root for him. Or maybe even Townsend. But I have no clue what the heck I'm talking about. :D But go everyone!

Letters From Gymnasts
Whoops, my bad. But 1 is still better than nothing. Yep. I'm convinced, I'm going to write to some Juniors plus a few Seniors. Maybe I'll even make a montage for one or two. I just need to get a hold on some stamps first. ^_^
