August 4, 200817 yr comment_10445 The link doesn't work for the article. I'm assuming it's about CERN and perhaps about the search for the Higgs particle. The Idea is that if you smash two protons together at a touch under c that there might be a net or momentary loss of energy that seemingly defies the laws of thermodynamics. The theory goes that the energy would be umm, out of lack of terminology, release into another dimension of space. CERN should be online very soon. Maybe we'll have more information on this!
