Posted May 23, 200619 yr comment_6676 I will explain the topic view formats which can be chosen from the options menu at the upper right of any topic's page. These have always been there, but I probably havent explained them. Of course everyone knows what the standard/traditional view is. And outlined view show the first post of the page, but the rest is in outline form. Linear Plus is the one you may not have picked up on the difference for though. The difference is on EVERY page of the topic... the first post from the topic is displayed at the top, then that page's replies are below it. Thus no matter which page you are on, you can glance up there if you forgot what the topic even is about. I am currently using default skin and default view, but at least changing either sometimes could make the place fresher.
May 23, 200619 yr comment_6678 Sounds like you explained it pretty well but I am not understanding what the advantage of using outline or Linear is.
May 23, 200619 yr Author comment_6680 They just save space really. Linear is the traditional one and looks a little nicer really. Outline is just stupid in my opinion. But some people using dialup may want to sue it since it won't have graphics all over the place loading.
