Posted May 12, 200619 yr comment_6605 What I am most impressed with about Wii at the moment is that you can apparently get a gun attachment to attach onto the controller and use it like a gun at the screen. Here is footage which shows a Wii game similar to Duck Hunt from the NES. As you see in the first clip, 1 people are competing against each other to shoot as many objects as possible on the screen: http://media.revolution.ign.com/articles/7...509/vids_1.html Here is some zelda footage: http://media.revolution.ign.com/media/748/748589/vids_1.html I believe one of those videos shows the Japanese guy actually playing it also.
May 28, 200619 yr Author comment_6726 Nintendo said the MOST they may charge is $250. It should be out in October or November. I think I am finally pretty decided that IF twilight princess can be played EITHER with a regular controller OR the wii-mote, I will buy wii immediately and TP for it. If not, I may buy T for gamecube and then get wii later. Because I dunno if a zelda game is a good type of game to be forcing myself to use a new type of controller for.
June 4, 200619 yr Author comment_6766 IGN says Nintendo will have their best launch lineup in the history of their systems. They said monkey ball is a game so good to play with these sensor remotes that they couldn't get enough of it. What bugs me is they said the zelda game will be in widescreen for wii version, but not for gc version. So to get things looking good on my HDTV I need wii version and if I can't play wii version with a normal controller I wouldn't want it.
June 5, 200619 yr Author comment_6770 Also Madden uses the nunchuck and wiimote. Some games use both, some use 1, some use neither. So for madden you swing towards the tv in direction you want to throw the pass I assume. Sounds awesome for football, baseball, monkey ball, duck hunt, and many other games. Zelda worries me for this setup though.
