Many changes have been done to Arcade.

The skin has been redone to include many new things such as most popular games, newest games, a random game, etc...

Hall of Fame scores are still recorded. Thus if I wipe out scores, all high scores will go back to 0, but the HoF scores will still be there to let people know the highest scores ever.

Many more stats are given now. The top scorers, top tournament scorers, top jackpot winners, etc.

Now although games still have set prices to play (usually 10 points), they do NOT have a set amount to be won if a high score is breat. Instead... each game has its on jackpot. It is started at 50 points. Every time someone plays and fails to get the high score, 10 points is added to the jackpot. At this point I have max jackpots set at 5,000 points. I can always change how much they cost, jackpot starting amounts, how much is added per play, etc. When a jackpot is won, it resets to 50 points, not 0. Also you can not win a jackpot unless a game has been played at least 5 times since being installed.

There are more stats for tournaments now. Also now YOU can create your own tournaments and have people join them. When you create a tournament, you can select the entry fee and the jackpot will be all of the entry fees combined. A topic will be automatically created in the Arcade Tournaments forum which will let people know the tournament was created. The only groups whoa re supposed to be able to create them are groups loyal and above. However a bug is allowing ANY group to create tournaments at this point. And also when I am the one creating tournaments, a topic will be created too. none of us receive the normal points received for posting topics when these auto topics are generated. I select jackpot amounts for tournaments I create.

That's about it, I believe. The scores which determine the top arcade players are based on which place you are in on the game's leaderboard. You receive 25 points for first place for example and less points for lower places. For these points, it is just to keeps core, you do NOT receive these points. I am just telling you the formula used to generate the lists on the arcade page which tell the top players.

I ran an upgrade and because of a tool I used, it screwed up everything. topics wouldn't even work. I barely changed anything in the coding and it SEEMS to ahve fixed it though. Please let me know if anything is not working properly anywehre on the site.

Upgraded again. The game cost page now added there will tell jackpots.

I could have actually done that even before this upgrade, but I didn't know it. The guy who made the type of arcade modifications I use told me a tool that does it and I never realized it was there.
