I made a baseball quiz to be released but I had a couple questions before its finalized.

1) Do the questions need to be all multiple choice or is there a way to put in fill in the blank?

2) The Quiz is about 15 questions, might add more, wondering how many points are quizzes going to be worth?

Hmm well i thought it has to be one or the other, but now that I look... it appears I add 1 question ata time and choose for each question to be multiple choice or fill in the blank type of question.

What sucks is that i will notice the answers thus can't really take the quiz myself. And the problem with allowing you to actually create it yourself is then you can see answers for others' quizes ampparently. Also sucks that nobody else ever sees or uses any of this stuff. Would be ncie if people would use them.

ALso though somewhere on here I had a topic about quizes that you could have posted this in. I dont guess it matters much, but would make it easier for people to keep up with everything instead of it being discussed in several areas.

Just wondering if the Quiz section is ready to be opened or are we still waiting for stuff? Also has it been decided what the points reward will be for submitting quizzes?

I'll think about it. i don't know. But look how nobody shows up. That's the problem. You ahve good ideas, but then nobody uses anything lately.

so then your gonna give up on the site? i mean if your not gonna update things and make features work properly then why dont you just shut it down.

Adding a quiz that nobody is here to take is not the same thing as keeping features updated. It's just dumb to go to that trouble when nobody will stay and post like they all ahve told me they would. I need at least a few active people here.

Its not stupid to actually have all these features updated and available for use. You want new members to be able to use each feature when they join. Not when you feel they are active enough to deserve them. The site has been opened almost a year and reward points for writing a quiz or review still hasnt been decided on.

Even if you only add 3 games a night to sports book, have atleast 1 quiz available to complete and reviews ready to be accepted and displayed.

If you were a clothing store, do you keep everything in the back until a cutomer walks in and proclaims, " Bring out the clothes, I am ready to buy." No you have the merchandise out for people to try on and decide if they like it or not. Same rules apply here. Say someone joins because they see you have a sports book. (One of my favorite features) Then they join and go check it out and wants to make a bet. They cant because there is never anything there to bet on.

Overall the site is great, but these are the things that bother me. All i heard was how much a perfectionist you are. This is not how a perfectionist's site should work. IMO

So what is the deal? Is the quiz released or not? I am not seeing it listed anywhere.

I never submitted it. Quiz feature still isnt fully operational and no value has been decided on them.

Value doesn't matter since I would be the one entering that anyway. But I don't know who is going to take it when you make it, I see the answers when uploading, etc. Also i wish I could find a better quiz feature because this one has problems and the people who make those mods are not interested in adding features or making it work the way I ened it to work.

I do not understand this statement. I can see a couple different ways to interpret it.

When I install it, I will see the correct answers because I have to mark them. Thus I personally wouldn't be able to take them.

Also I was saying values don't matter to you, that is for me to fgure out. you were acting as if it would affect the way you make your quiz.

Any quiz that is uploaded you wont be able to take unless it is posted directly in a thread by its creator and not given to you first. If thats the way you want it, then the quiz mod is really of no use.

When I was speaking of value I was referring to how many points will somebody recieve for completing it. The creators reward for doing it would just be taking the quiz and getting the points.

I know. But I am saying you don't need to know what the reward is yet! Also I am not sure what you are talking about on that first part. Obviously I am going to see the answers when it is uploaded or how would the quiz mod know which oens to count right or wrong? I have tot ell it which ones.

Now the IDEAL thing would be for the quiz creator to be the one uploading it. HOWEVER the problem with that is that the person can then cheat and look at answers for the other quizzes there.

The people who make the points mods do not care when people want them changed. A lot of creators will change it, but they not only won't change them, they encrypt the files where we as admins can't change them ourselves either.

That is why I am trying to get off of their mods onto others.

Byt the way I can buy a sports pick 'em mod to pick football game winners, similar to betting mod but you dont bet, you simpl;y pick who will win and it keeps up with it the whole footballs eason. then i could just manually add points to winners or something. If that is worth me installing. It costs though.

The football thing would be cool but i dont think you should pay until you get some real members.
