Aaron is scared to post in here apparently.

I have gone through some things lately to cause me to miss picking up Lidge in some leagues and also some other big name guys. I forgot someone else was waived too.

I slipped and had only 1 team in first at one point. But now I am in first in 2 by quite a margin and then I am 1/2 and 2 and 1/2 out in the other 2. So I think I have positioned myself nicely to be within 3 points in ALL big money leagues on August 29'th with nobody allowed to trade anymore to try to catch me in thatw ay.

Things not going as planned for me. *sigh* The league I thought was an automatic win for me almost all season and was up by almost 20 points in a few weeks ago, I am now only up by 4 points and I see at least 5 points he can gain. The good news is I see 10+ I could gain hopefully also.

Another league I was leading by 12 points a week or two ago, I am now only up by 4 in.

A league I was close in all season I now lead by 10+ points.

My final big dollar league, I was winning not long ago and now I am 2 back. I guess it's good that my worst team of the 4 is only 2 points out of first place though. But it's stressful that 3 of the 4 teams are within 4 points of a tyeam and the other team isn't an automatic win yet either.

I keep making whatever moves I can think of.

This sure sucks. In the 3 leagues I am winning... they could be won with under 70, under 70, and 77 and 1/2. Yet in my league I am LOSING in, I have a 78 and 1/3, which would win any of those other 3, yet has me about 5-6 points back in that particular league!

In all leagues there are plenty points for me to gain. But the question is can I pick up the right players to get those points and hopefully others keep the other contenders from gaining more points.

Well I will for sure win 1 league for $3,500. Then I am barely up in another for $3,500. But I have suddenly fallen TOTALLY apart in my other 2. In one league I was 1/2 a point back last week and I am now suddenly 13 back. I LED that league by 13+ myself MUCH of the season. I would say my chances are 99%, 75%, 50%, 20% at winning them.

Well the only way I would win under $7,000 now is a miracle or TERRIBLE starts by Harden and Carpenter. Still mathematically have a shot at $14,000, but it won't happen. I am hoping Harden and Carpenter win, where 1. there will be no playoff game and 2. I would then gain a couple points and possibly win both of my leagues by double digits.

In one league, I won because of 11 rbis, 5 k's, and 0.015 e.r.a.. I won it by 3 and 1/2 points and those small numbers were worth 4 points.

In my other league, almost all season it was close with MANY times of having 5-6 teams bunched together and I ended up winning by 16 and 1/2 points.

I lost my other 2 leagues by 7-10 points.

Grand Prize: $7,000.

I am getting the most horrible draft positions. First ninth, now eighth. That's a big disadvantega right from the start! Arod and Santana are big names that just can't be equaled. I even think reyes, utley, etc... are no better than the bottom of the first round picks, but the best pitcher and best hitter are both usually way above all others at their position.

On my last draft I got braves Soriano not Wagner.

Anyway I feel VERY bad about my drafts now. I wish I had watched this espn fantasy show before drafting and also planned my drafts better. I don't have certain people I REALLY want for this year and I do have people I shouldn't have.

I would say it's no worse than some players you drafted, but I am worried about my teams currently, not other people's. The baseball tonight people agree with my that Haren is overrated though.

This is so disorganized. I should have a fantasy discussion topic for general stuff like this.

But anyway how great... Longoria was apparantly called up and picked up in all three of my leagues while I slept.

Also someone keeps makijng crazy proposals to me.

And somoene used their #1 waivers claim to pick up SBELL. So I now have the #1 in all three leagues.

My very first drafted team has gained 27 and 1/2 points over the top team this week to tie me with him now. That is the team where I have had Pujols and Soriano struggling until now and honestly I think that is a killer team. It's my team with 4 closers, I ahve 46 and 1/2 of the 50 possible hitting points, and I have rj coming back ina few days.

I think I am going to waive Kent for a base stealer for now, but I rerally need a starter.

Oh and in the league where I got Lackey in the 18th round, he is now scheduled to be back within about 2-3 weeks rather than the 4-5 from this date it was originally scheduled at.

Also players I decided not to trade for have proven to me I was wise not to. Someone kept offering me Oswalt and he got crushed today. I own sabathia nowhere. I turned down jeter deals. I am getting lucky so far with my decisions. Drew and Patterson are showing I was finally wise in using them as sleepers.

Really the only things not going well thus far are zambrano and then the injuries to Harden and braves Soriano.

Kind of sickening seeing what's happening. Knowing Upton was sitting right there on FA and I forgot to pick him up and now he is hitting over .400 with 5 homers. And also I was high on Sheets this year and then didn't draft him and he is doing great.

One of my leagues I barely feel I have a chance in and it's only April! I only had 2 closers and then one of them went to the DL and nobody seems interested in trading them. And my 7 starters aren't doing as great as I thought either because of how horrible zambrano and verlander have been.

Now all of my pitchers are having their leads blown too. Sigh.

Players I normally do not draft have been on fire. Ibanez in one league. Now Figgens also. I don't think I have owned him ever except maybe part of his first or second season. Well he is batting .413 with 6 steals.

People who are adding and dropping pitchers like crazy are starting to drop some they should have probably held. Now Cliff Lee was dropped in a couple leagues and after his performance today I thnik I may take him and keep him.

I think it is pretty clear I was wrong about Utley's value and I am glad I drafted him. He is a second baseman and now leads the entire major leagues in homeruns while batting nearly .350.

The only league I had a chance to draft him in and didn't do it was a league I took david wright in, so I don't feel bad about that pick either.

In the league aaron said I ahd a horrible draft in I have manny and utley going nuts and then 9 unbelievable starting pitchers.

I am honestly getting sick of fantasy baseball becuase every year it's the same thing. It's either me trade for crap or nobody will trade at all. I've done zero trades thus far and have to keepw atching players do bad with no hope of me dealing them because when I tried to deal them BEFORE they did bad nobody would pay attention.
