March 2, 200620 yr comment_5594 A wintery mix can be any combination of snow, rain, freezing rain, and sleet. Just depending. Snow showers are basically just heavier than if it says "light snow". Plus seems to be used mostly when it isn't a high chance of snow. Seems to me if there is a great chance it usually just says "snow", "light snow" or "heavy snow". Here is what determines precipitation type: 1. If the temperature is below freezing pretty much all the way down from the cloud to the ground, it will be snow. 2. If it is above freezing a long way up from the ground, it will be rain. 3. If it is below freezing most of the way down from the cloud to the ground then ABOVE freezing for a short amount of space from the ground up, then it will be sleet. Or if it is below freezing at the surface, but up above it is above freezing for quite a ways it will also be sleet. 4. If it gets above freezing up above the surface then becomes below freezing ONLY as it gets VERY close to the surface, it will be freezing rain. Or I guess if it is a thin enough area below it at the surface it could still actually be regular rian. So pretty much it all depends on how much of the area between the cloud and ground is above or below freezing and how CLOSE to the surface those areas are. And it could be a mix of things if the areas are so close to borderlines that maybe some snow melts differently than others. Also the SIZE of the rain/snow would make some melt slower than other pieces of course.
March 2, 200620 yr comment_5597 No prob. Umm and this is weird. All of a sudden the stars work. lmao (under our avatars). They werent here before, were they? I think they werent working and somehow now they showed up when I redid all this shit for the new upgrade. LOL I must have accidentally fixed it. They wont show for long though. I put it where 1 silver star does it, just as a test. I am gonna change it where it takes 10-20 for each star because there are only 5 stars, so there needs to be a while taken to upgrade to each star. I wonder why I didnt get a PM though about receiving a star. Did you not receive one when I gave you yours? Oops I see another error. In the stars mod. Better fix that real quick where the link tos ee comments works.
