You can now bet points on sports matchups and even other things once I set them up.

The payout doesnt seem to be working right, but I put a test game for tonight. The cutoff time is EASTERN Time.

For today I am only allowing 10 point bets. FOR NOW only bet 1 time on a matchup. I really doubt I will ever allow multiple bets on the same event! That makes no sense once I raise the limit. The limit is there for a reason, why let people bet 2 times to double the limit? lol

Anyway, here are some notes:

1. The team must win by the "spread" or you lose. Sometimes I will have no spread.

2. If payout is not 1:1 (example it is 2:1 for this practice one) then if you pick the UNFAVORED team, you will get the 2:1, 3:1, etc... payout. If you pick the FAVORED team, you get your bet back plus 1:1 payout.

ok it APPEARS this has all been fixed and is paying out properly. I paid back a loser's second bet which wasnt supposed to be made.

Until the forum is active enough to where people notice this, I will probably post here when I put an event up to bet on.

For now I am limiting bets to 100 points max until it is more active and also limiting it to 1 bet on an event per person. Bet on as many games as you want, but just not the same one more than once.

The only current game to bet on is: #2 Villanova at #3/#4 UCONN. Betting ends at 1 P.M. (ET)

I put tonight's Memphis vs. UAB game. Memphis is favored by 3.

I am just doing a game here and there for now until there seems to be enough interest to do more games. Plus getting used to the system.

Added the Memphis game again. Thought about adding the UCONN/Louisville game. I don't think UCONN can beat them by 14 like they are supposed to, but oh well. Maybe I will add more games next week than now.

The betting should work right now. It paid Aaron for losing and I had to take it off and the mod was updated again to hopefully fix it. I dunno if it said on his page entitled "your bets" that he was paid or not paid.

I put 3 big games in sports betting, but they have to be picked by noon ET, so who knows if anyone will do them. I may do some low bets on them myself.

I put 2:1 odds if Louisville wins. Because they have done terrible most of the year and have underachieved.

If it were active enough here I would have max bets at 500 or 1,000. But with it only being me and Aaron using it, it isn't fair to be adding on massive points when nobody else is even here to use them! I did change max to 250, but now changed it back to 100. Starting out slow.

I bet 50 each on 2 of those. I hate to rack up points. But I like doing these things, so hopefully others will soon get active where I dont go way ahead.

I started to add tonight's but figured nobody would use it, just like usual when I go to trouble. I may just put some games. Or maybe I will put all. Then also have some bracket people can do. But with only you and me caring about it, I am not doing this huge bracket thing wherre people win tons of points etc when nobody else even cares enough to do it. Features cant really be popular when nobody uses them. And when I do add them you don't use them anywya.

I don't sit around all day wondering if games will be added. I check when I remember. If I knew they were going to be added on a daily basis I would use it every day. The last 3 day ive checked and nothing so I thought id ask about the NCAA.

I can't say people would use it more if you updated it everyday because people still arent using, chat, casino, arcade. All awesome fetures that u added that only I use.

Exactly. And we can't force them to. So not much either of us can do unless one of us happens to run across new people to ask to come here.

Anyway it's hard to rush to doing anything someone suggests when they are rude to me everywhere but the forum. If you were some random person, it would not go along with forum issues.

ANyway I moved them to the off-topic topic, I didnt delete them. I said I just didnt want them in a feature topic.

Although trust me admins troll me on other sites then punish me for it, so if I did want to do that i would be no different than them. I just dont like doing that if I can help it.

I added 21 games for the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Pay close attention to the spreads, odds, and favored teams. Also different cutoff times.

MOST games I have as a pick 'em where there is no point spread.

HOWEVER, i took a few games and made them different:

1. ALL #1 games I put the home team as a favorite by 1 point. These should be easy wins, HOWEVER notice I have them at 10:1 odds. Thus if you pick home team you get 1 times your bet. But if you feel lucky and want to pick a #1 to be upset for the first time in history and it happens you would get 10 times the bet back.

2. Since everyone says air force shouldnt be in, if you pick them tobeat Illinois and they do it, you get 20 times your bet back.

3. I did the Texas game also at 10:1 odds. I could change some of those to 20:1 since they are so unlikely, but since it is me and Aaron I think I will leave it as is. No point with us getting shots at tons of free points when nobody else is ehre to try for them also!

4. I did 5:1 odds for Tennessee winning by 7.

5. Remember dont bet on any event more than once.

I bet 100 each on 3 games. I hate to go nuts on them when I am admin. I am tempted to toss in some on that Illinois game just for a chance at winning 2,000 on that one.

I may allow larger bets later, but nobody is freakin here! If Aaron hadnt lost so much in casino I probably wouldnt even have these there. lol

I paid you out for the first day. You won 8 and lost 4, thus a net of 400. I forgot 1 game had a spread of 1 and I randomly put that they won by 1, so you didnt get those 200, so I added them manually. lol

I wish more people were here to sue this already. Then I wouldnt have to care how much people won. But either way I wasnt going to take away.

Well you won another 600. I think I am about even for 2 days and you are up about 900. I put some of the possible upsets as giving out 2:1, 5:1, etc... for the next round. I bet on a couple of those.

I did great the second day. First day had alot more upsets. Got my bets in for today's games and I went with a couple upsets.

I have a strong feeling Duke will lose to GW but I just couldnt put the bet down. I did bet on Tenn to lose.
