Axl looks strange, but anyway both Rolling Stone and MTV said it has been great concerts and the fans were excited during them. Some people under 18 were at them also, so that is interesting thata younger crowd also cared about going. One man drove from Boston and spent $200 to go to one of the shows.

Two days until their first concert. They sold out the 4 New York shows in 3 minutes.

And Axl hinted that Izzy will be the guitarist for the NY shows and Slash maybe for foreign shows.

That would be a shocker if it were to come true though.

Its not a normal concert. Its in the Hammerstein Ballroom which only holds about 3000 people. I was already to buy tickets until I saw it was a Monday and Tuesday I realized I coulndt go.

gnr's rock in rio performance will be broadcast LIVE on aol music Saturday evening.

I believe it will be free. I sure hope so. It seems you don't havee to be an aol member.

Also, it will probably be on XM Satellite. Because the company which gives AOL the feed also gives XM permission to use its feeds.

Guns n' Roses is the first band ever to be at Rock in Rio three different times, if I am not mistaken. It takes place in Lisbon, Portugal and they have had very memorable performances there in the past!

Are you actually comparing the Stones to gnr? lol I don't even like the stones and thats a funny comparison. Maybe a Poison or Van Halen concert would have been a better analogy

If you were GOING to the concert, there's no problem. People don't sit home to watch a Tyson fight they go out to and watch it at a sports bar or have a bunch of guys over the house to watch.

Sitting home alone watching a webcast on a Holiday weekend saturday night is sad.

I don;t know HOW to rate that concert. His voice went in and out the entire time. I thought wow his voice is terrible, then it would be great and I eventually realized the mic either didn't work or somehow it just didn't get picked up properly on the internet feed. A lot of songs showed potential still in his voice to where if the freakin thing didn't go in and out, it could be good. He did look bigger than in the past, not really the same look whatsoever, and his voice seemed to eb "untrained" where he couldn';t hold notes as long or get enough energy in some lyrics. I can still sing them good though. My voice has always been the type to sound deep or shrill or anything else like those songs. lol

Anyway it lasted over 2 hours.
