Well I installed casino. Not sure how well this will go over. I put limits of 1,000 5,000 and 10,000 points to be won per day. But if people really won those, it would get people having crazy totals. So I may need to tweak a lot of this stuff at some point. Top 2 groups, admins, and mods have unlimited that they can win. I dont know how this is going to go.

You have 20 points in your "wallet" to start with. You can withdraw that if you arent interested in using casino. Anyway, you always use wallet points on those games. That way someone wont accidentally lose more than they are willing to.

Cyber Slots has been fixed. So all seems fine with Casino.

Just a warning, be careful in casino because it doesn't take long at all to lose many points. You can gain tons also, theoretically, but I have no clue if the guy who edited these games (Mike) made it very hard to win them or not.

I love some of the games though. I am sure quite a few people will like keno, cyberslots, and let it ride.

Note that there are limits for what different groups can win. Currently you cant win over 1,000 per day for beginners, 5,000 for the next group, then 10,000, then my top 2 groups here can win unlimited. Just trying to limit what beginners can do where there is more reason to post 500 posts and get into a higher group. Always possible I could change these limits however. Like much of this site, it is experimental until I see how things go with the features.

There are also some minimum post requirements and max play per day limits. Those likewise are experimental. I am just trying to make it where people cant overdo the winning on these first couple groups.

Let me know if there are any loopholes. If people were to cheat, I will put them down to 0 points or maybe ban because it is possible it could give them a big advantage on soemthing important later down the line.

This is driving me nuts how much I lose on there. Wow. You would think one time I would get lucky.

Man, I am finally getting lucky. I won a 300 on cyberslots just now. That game is pretty fun to me. And you always have the possibility of hauling in 10,000 on one pull.

At some point hopefully people with dialup will test a game for me. There is a new anti-cheating method where if it takes you more than 7 seconds to cash out, you get an error message and I think you lose all points. I need to know if dialup people will ever take longer.

There are logs kept of every time someone plays a game also. And I can tell some things from it. If it seems to eb an error at first, I will put the wallet total to what it was to start that game which the error occurredin. It tells in the log how many points you had at the start. But if it happens much, I would know it is someone cheating.

I dont think anyone currently here would cheat anyway though.

I finally bothered to upgrade from 1.4.0 to 1.5.1.

I don't know if it fixed that FF bug. You could empty your wallet other than about 10 points and try in FF to test it. Becuase it always works in my FF.

I just tried it. Still same bug on FF. Game will not load. Oh well. I did lose 5 points testing it out but it wont bother me if you dont put it back.

Played Spin to win tonight. Tried to cash out with 484 credits. Would not cash out. Could you check the logs and see what happened and please credit my wallet 484 credits.

I've told you this before, the only thing I can credit is what the logs tell. That would be what you entered it with. I had to do it to myself also and I lost 500+ points out of it. I couldn't even remember how much I won to begin with. The only other alternative is maybe when the cash out doesn't work, get a screenshot of it, but then that could be manipulated by someone at some point.

I'm sorry that casino is so messed up, but it's either do it this way or get rid of it. Because they ignore everyone about problems with the casino software.

For the record, were you using Internet Explorer or Firefox?

Also, please try to remember o use the support link rather than topics because I usually post this type of thing there myself and then I have a better idea of which things still need to be fixed and which things have been resolved already.

No clue what the solution is to this problem, but it's too easy and makes all other methods of gaining points obsolete. I am going to ahve to lower max win amounts WAY down or else not use that game.

I just played 6 minutes and won over 1,700. I stopped rather than keep winning more and more, even though I could have won a lot more and still have not got the point total Aaron has from it.

Sucks, but I don't know what a solution is which would keep people from jumping way up in points by not doing anything other than sitting there for a couple minutes on a game that pays out constantly.

So you are going to refund the 1700 points out of your account, correct? If its that bad that you have to shut it down, why should you get 1 last shot at making points when noone else can.

I am tempted to not even let points from arcade or casino count on the main point total at all becuase it then dillutes points for posts, betting, and reviews if a person can simply press a button for 5 minutes to get thousands of points.

Either the limit is going to ahve to be monthly, lowered considerably for weekly, or something else. I like the games here and keep them because they are fun, but I am not going to allow them to bloat out the point totals to an outrageous amount. If someone were to really want to they could get 100,000 points in just a few months wheras my total and your total are around that for two YEARS of posting. So obviously changes are needed.

You dont need to take my point because im not the one winning thousands of points but then complaining about it. You should just announced that spin to win will be closing at such and such a date and time. Also cold have lowered the weekly max so nobody could just go and play until they had 1 million points. This woulkd have made everything fair. Instead you won points then decided to close it. Thats not right.

You're really being ridiculous as usual. YOU have won thousands of points on it this week and you're going to complain that I won 1700. I could very well ADD me 1700 right back for points I got testing other things and then deleting the points right back.

It also baffles me why people would even want to win on games that are pretty much automatic wins. It's like free points, not fun. Who would play other games when they can sit there 2 minutes to win 1,000 without risk of losing?

I am thinking about making MONTHLY limits. Unfortunately it would suck since if you reach it, you could have a month of not being able to play and it would get boring. But lowering weekly totals would make it where it would be impossible to win big jackpots becuase it would go over the limits!

Another possibility is using the built in feature that only gives you a percentage of winnings for that game. I don't like that idea since it will be confusing when people see they won a lot then they cash out and get less. Even though it states deduction rates right there for the game, people still will be asking me what's wrong.

The game is not even a default casino game, so I don't know why you think it's so horrible to try to make the site FAIR. This is tempting me to leave casino points SEPARATE from regular points. That would suck, but something has to be done to make it fair for everyone on the site, where someone can't play a game for 5 minutes and get more points than they get for posting for a week on ana ctive board or months on thisinactive one.
