That's cool. Usually wouldnt you wait a little longer before using a skill in a competition? When is your next competition after this one? I would personally think you should do like you said and get more used to it and confident with it, unless you just flat seem to do fine on it a huge % of the time already.

my next two meets are tomorrow and the 21st. i have been putting it in my routine everytime and i make it probably umm 95% of the time i would say! i worked on beam a TON today too and i am really confident with it my coach says i should do it and my teammates think it looks good so yeah! i cant wait

I would say use it in competition. Only way to get that confidence is to use it when it really counts. Even if you fail the first time, the second go round will be much easier. Best way to get better is thru experience.

BUT I GOT ANOTHER NEW SKILL THIS WEEK! 1 1/2's (backward) ON FLOOR! I AM SOOO EXCITED they came really easy for me! I am competing them at my meet saturday! YAY

Well lately you said you were underscored on floor I think. So hopefully they dont do something dumb when you do the new skill great!

Actually you got scored well on iut this past time apparently. (on floor, that is)
