If anyone wants them ask here. Google Talk is something wehre you can IM, email, or call someone for free. But you must have gmail to use it, and you must be invited to use gmail to use that.

I have not tried Google Talk yet.

Gmail has some built in chat features now where you can chat/IM through your email i believe is how it works.

Yea, same here..... I haven't given Gmail Google talk thingy... a try yet though... Maybe I will one of these days.
