May 23, 200619 yr Author comment_6675 I thinned it a tad more, put up another logo, got rid of the double logo, and just overall changed some little things. I am not so crazy about the icons on the index page now, but that's about it. And by the way, the large fonts were already there. I did not make them that large myself. This topic view is a pretty interesting change. The whole vbulletin layout. So all I can think of which still needs to be worked on is... I need to get all of the info in the topics, such as points, name, gender, etc... like for the other skins. That's about it.

Also another site or two have skins. If anyone sees several they like, let me know. I still am only going to get some if I personally like them, but someone may notice one i haven't paid attention to. I really want a red one and rgeen one and possibly blue. July 3, 200619 yr Author comment_7185 Thankjs. None of them are the style I want for the main skin though. Most of those are dark still. Which I wille ventually have one of, but I really need a cheerful one with white but then colors such as blue, red, or green too. Just not the actual backgrounds colors other than white. It really sucks how hard it is to find good skins. And notice almost every skin there is set up in a similar way such as the rectangle ariound your avatar and info.

Violet Steel However, even though i have spent a lot of time getting them to work, many features wont work on them, such as... just about anything other than posting. edit: this is why I don't add skins often. I wasted hours and hours messing with it and now some things aren't doing the way I thought and I may have to redo a lot of crap.

July 8, 200619 yr Author comment_7275 lol oh well. Anyway I mentioned to the creator that I personally am looking for some red on white, blue on white, and rgeen on white skins. Those are pretty much all I am looking for now. By the way, one problem with the dark skins such as violet steel is that some smileys wont work on it. I had to go toa dark set of smileys for it, so its set is different than these light sets. Thus some smileys from light wont show on dark and opposite.

Also some skins, on purpose, don't have the smileys shown on the left when creating a post/topic). I love the depth appearance of text boxes, such as the fast reply box for this skin. I love the shading of blue also. I still have to put some links and mods into it though. And it seems slow scrolling, compared with the other skins. Also I have to figure a way to do the logo. Then I will like it a lot. edit: ok spoiler button is now in all skins. It was a pain to fix.
August 8, 200619 yr Author comment_7519 ok, I worked hard tonight and think I have everything in ALL skins now, including arcade links and all of the other things which were missing. I did my best to keep the skins looking properly, while still fitting more into them. In the pink skin I had to do one separate menu which has 10 links rather than the 2 menus of 7 links on the other skins because there were already those 4 graphical links to the right on the pink skin. So I chose to create a new menu rather than have those same links show up twice. I also added a global forum message mod and put the info about referrals in it and then took its normal link out of the logo area. I also added a modification which has people's favorite posts in it. (It is "post share" in the community menu). However I still need to add the button you click to put them into that DB. I will make another topic about these changes since they are unrelated to skins

June 16, 200718 yr Author comment_8050 There is a new skin here, which is the default IPB 2.3 skin. The only problem left on it at the moment is the dropdown menus for community/games are all messed up. Otherwise I think I have it all ok. But as always if you find any problems, post about them in the bug tracker by clicking "Support" at the top of the page.
