Yes, I am AWARE of my crappy writing for the text. I dont have any good software on here and had to make that with PAINT, which is the most retarded thing for painting text ever.

Also, a few features are missing from this skin. I made it where arcade and spoilers work. Blog and Gallery work. Map, Store, a couple other things dont. You can always choose the other skin at the bottom, but this is only going to be the default for 3 days.

does that not mean you loose a few mods along with this new skin unless you re-modify the skin with the mods you previously installed?

yes, but I am only leaving this here a few days. And the regular one is still selectable even now. But I did put some of the modifications back on this one too.

By the way, if people think I should, I could keep this skin for the unusual topics area all the time and the regular skin for everywhere else. Although with this being a Halloween one, I dunno. Still not exactly the best for that area I guess. More an outerspace one would be.

I was in a mood to get a skin brighter than the usual skin here and I just cant get any done that I like. I am kind of tired of black, but there isnt anything else which looks so great either. And I spent a long time using PAINT to color in the top banner with blue and it is so gard in Paint to keep lines straight and I was messing it up eventually. I need to download trial sotware I guess.

If anyone has ideas for skins let me know because I could also just have more than one.

You did such a great job with the Halloween skin are you going to find and add a christmas skin this year? The Holiday season is in full effect and was just wondering if this was something that could be done before christmas is gone.

I am making the one I like least be the default right now. People can always change to the other or to the regular Got Talk skin. Then closer to Christmas I will make the better one be the default.

I have not added a lot of things in, as I just quickly got them in working condition. Mainly just features dont have links. Most stuff is actually there. I will do some edits for the important things later I guess.

I am using the Noel one just because I have seen the other so much.

The Noel 1 was nice but the red was hurting my eyes.

I believe I managed to get all features into every skin now except lock hack is not showing up. That mod has not been active at all to beginw ith though, so that doesnt matter.

I have not added the DL link to any skin because I am still working out problems and plus unsure on what it will even be used for.

I kinda like this extra space on the sides of the Christmas Snow skin. I am tempted to add space to the sides of the main skin. I personally like these colors a lot also. The only problem with adding to the margins is it squeezes things into a smaller area. But it does prevent having to look from side to side to read things. It is all right there in the center nciely. (I am only judging by 800 by 600.)

Does it look better or worse with me going back to the main things NOT being bold? I am so used to the other way it looks so thin and weird to me now. But the other way was indeed messier.

The reason i changed it is because reviews uses a row type that was automatically bold so then the bold coding does nothing inr eviews without me changing it to this way.

Also let me know if anyone has ideas on improving the look such as a different color. I like black and white sometimes but in certain moods I want color back here. Thus will probably have 2 or 3 main skins.

edit: nevermind............... I changed it back. Something wasn't right and I like some things bold. Maybe I should make a different class for the review system.......... Still let me know about ideas though. But what sucks is some things look a bit messy but then when I change them they bug my eyes and i am not going to runa place and have it annoy me personally with how small/thin text is.

edit again: I messed around for a little while with another skin, which can be chosen at the bottom of the screen. However, now that one seems too much in the OTHER direction. While the black is too gloomy, the shade of blue I made the other have is too bright! I said all along I suck at skinning so really it is Chels leaving which caused this.

If anyone ever has any ideas, maybe Lynne would do graphics. But she is more busy lately it seeems.

Other than my crappy buttons I made, I like the black usually. But I would like to have a brighter skin to switch to sometimes. If any good graphics person ever feels like it they could make a 50 by 50 square of some color to be the bars at the top of tables and a 140 high by anything 700 or less wide for a logo. Then a strip of 140 high and 23 wide which matches the logo in color which goes on both sides of the logo and stretches to the end of the window.

I like the blue/black thing you've got going on. But remember when we were talking about that mod that allows certain skins to be uploaded and stuff. I think that'd look cool.

I have installed a vbulletin style skin (selectable at bottom like all skins). I took forever trying to get all of my modifications installed. Most are fine. If anything doesnt work, just switch to another skin to use it. Arcade will NOT work in this skin yet.

Also the stupid logo is shown twice and looks weird. lol Most other things look ok. The profile view is the normal profile look, but I havent yet put all things back in profiles or in topic view.

I personally still am using the main black skin. But maybe some day I will be in a mood to use the other style.

I'll stick with the original Got Talk skin. Thanks for the option though.

I dont think you are even using the original. lol Last time I looked you were using that weird GT2 one. Which I almost deleted, but am leaving it for now and may alter it some.

edit: Also reviews section doesnt work. I think these things arent working because template bits arent installed. *sigh*

edit2: Now I know you don't because as you see, now at the bottom it tells in () how many are using each skin because I just installed a mod to do that.

So nobody is using anything other than the default one currently.

I am so dumb. I stayed up all night messing with profile view in the main skina nd this skin and I still never got it right. I thought I could make it good the original way profiles looked, but changing where things are situated. But it is just plain never going to look great.

I'm starting to dig the VBulletin skin. I dont care so much about the double name on top, just wish it was wider.

The double name is some error I caused which I will figure out.

Also I can try to make the skin wider.

Or I may buy these other 2 skins which are actually cooler than that one, in my opinion and still has topic view in vbulletin style. They are not expensive, but I do hate spending money when it has eben this long not taking off here.
