Our first game of the season starts in 14 hours! We need to win 3 and Duke win 2 more if there is to be a duke/memphis championship!

Now we have to go ON THE ROAD to play #14 Alabama after we demolished this team. Round 2 matchups are: Duke vs. Seton Hall Sam Houston State vs. Drexel Memphis vs. Alabama and UCLA vs. Temple Memphis was supposed to win by 8 and duke by 33. Duke only won by 18, memphis by 27.

November 17, 200520 yr Author comment_4218 Duke wins by 53 to go to NY. Our game is tonight at 9 p.m. my time on espn2. We better win. The odds have us losing by 1-2 points. It's been well-documented in publications across the country that the Crimson Tide is playing this season at a serious disadvantage, namely that it has just one scholarship guard on the roster. That's Steele. That's tough. Against Miami-Ohio, the 6-3 sophomore played 39 minutes, and odds are that number won't be a season-high. So the strategy on the UofM's side will be simple, to run at all times and use a rotation of Darius Washington and Andre Allen to potentially wear Steele down early, and potentially exploit the situation late. "We're going to press because that's what we do," said Allen. "If he can last, he can last. But if he can't, it's trouble for him." So I like that. Our guys are already acting tough with their talk. And Carney got a technical for hanging on the rim last game and our new 6'11 285 pound center blocked the **** out of a shot and almost got a technical for gloating.

November 20, 200520 yr Author comment_4278 It has been announced that #12 Memphis vs. #18 UCLA has been chosen for the prime time game for Wednesday night. The Duke game will be at 6 P.M. (CT) and the Memphis game will be at 8 P.M.(CT)! Also Memphis has been designated the home team for the game! This may sound like not a big deal, but I always feel like we play better in our white jerseys, whether it be at home or on a neutral court. I like it much better watching us when we wear the white rather than the blue also. UCLA has SEVERAL main players hurt right now, including their point guard. Hopefully not many of them will be back for this game, where we have that much more of a chance of meeting #1 Duke for the championship game on Friday night at 6 P.M.(CT).
