Posted October 27, 200520 yr comment_3928 The store is installed, but not straightforward/user-friendly in my opinion. Especially some admin features. To keep from being confused, you really need to go to your options and select EVERYTHING for the pm feature. (click the first setting in that list, then hold down the shift key on your keyboard, then (without letting go) click on the LAST item in the list. THEN let go of shift, as all items should be selected). If you do NOT select these, you will not even know when someone buys your stuff or accepts your bid/payment unless you click on your purchases or your sells to see the statuses! Right now you can't add an item since I havent created categories. But when you do add an item, the "items available" is how many you are selling. If you are selling a blend, you could leave it at -1 for unlimited sells if you want. For most items you must click "buy", then the seller must click "accept", then YOU must click "release payment" if they gave you what you were supposed to get. I wish this was much more user friendly. I can try to change it, but I doubt I can do enough to it. The whole layout should be better. You can do auctions or sells. I will make 1 category for real money I guess. you would still pay with points, but then it stands for cash or something. Doubt many will use that feature now though. Sorry, but at least the items can still be bought and auctioned. Just not as cool of an interface as I had hoped!
October 29, 200520 yr Author comment_3972 This was a pain testing the store. The main problems are: 1. when someone cancels, it sends them the om instead of the other person. 2. If a buyer DENIES a sell, the points arent returned to the buyer! They are returned if someone cancels though. I figured out how I can sell features such as closing your own topic. I will try to make it be able to do it as soon as purchased, but may have to do it myself later after it is bought. Also auctions work too. An example of how this could have been used is when Kelsey gave away autographed stuff, she could make an auction and give it to the high bidder since she wasnt aksing money for them anyay, you know?
