September 26, 200520 yr Author comment_3251 Another feature i never noticed. When you send a pm click "track this message". Then later go into "my controls". In the PM section click "message tracker". Irt tells you if they read it. Very cool. I am finding TONS of features I bet most of you never knew and even I did not know many of them. Invision didnt make some of these features obvious. More control panel things you can do: 1. in pm section you can add buddies to your buddy list. Then if you have a private album go to it in your control panel and you can give certain buddies permission to view it, while others cant. 2. Many blogs settings in control panel such as renaming the link to it where you can use a more user-friendly link for people. 3. In "board settings" you can switch to Rich Text Editor for pm's and posts. It will make it where if you bold, underline, etc... it shows it as it WILL appear to everyone, NOT having bold and udnerline tags. Many more features in "my controls". You should go explore them. aThey can make the forum much better for everyone. Subscriptions wehre you can receive notifications for things, rename your PM folders, change your time setting, change whether you get emailed or not when you receive pm's, and many ther things. Change your avatar, change your sig, when you havepermission you can change your sisplay name and create a custom title. For blogs you can go right to "about me" and put info in it.

If you click on "track message" when PMing someone, not only can you see its status, you can UNSEND it if it has not been read. (from your message tracker area). 2. You can edit and resend a message if it is being tracked and unread AND YOU HAD checked the box for save to sent folder! ANOTHR COOL THING: If you highlight text IN ANYONE'S MESSAGE, then go down to FAST REPLY box, a button appears under the box and if you click it then it automatically quotes what you have highlighted up there in the message. THUS you can quote someone without doing a full reply or clicking the "quote" button. It will NOT tell WHO you are quoting, but will tell the quote still.
