I see Hurricane Rita is the third strongest hurricane ever recorded in the U.S.. The winds last I heard were 175 ,.p.h. and it could totally destroy Galviston, TX (sp?)

Also Minnesota had tornado warnings, which is pretty rare.

I should start predicting weather for people to get back to remembering stuff. lol

IMHO when a conversation has reached the point of talking about the weather, the next words should be, "ok, I'll catch ya later."

The exception to this rule is devastating Hurricanes or Widard of Oz tornadoes.

How come we have a weather thread but there is a post in GD about a tornado?

Well general discussion can be about anything I guess. Although it is better if they go in the right places. And by the way this is only here until I think where I want to put it. And this is more of something where people could ask me ?s about weather things too. If I dont remember them, maybe it will get me back into remembering things in case I get a job in it.

the weather here in LA is very crazy. it's fall and it's really hot. especially at night.

Weather temp in Jersey has dropped signifagantly. It rained for 7 days staright last week.

It is getting to 90 here some this week. ALMOST NOVEMBER.

its so good here in the Big D, mid 70's for highs and lows in the mid to upper 40's

It is supposed to get in the 30's here some night soon.

It still hasn't snowed here. And it was supposed to tonight and now it's going to be like 3 or 4 degrees too warm. lol

We have a freezing fog advisiory. That is rare.

Opening back since there isn't a separate weather section.

In the past week we have had freezing fog advisiories, winter weather advisories, wind advisories, and now a high wind warning and a tornado watch.

Suddenly our "possible" snow storm for tomorrow has turned into a winter storm warning with up to 5 inches of snow. We haven't had a storm with more than 5 inches in many years. I do remember one with 5 even a few years back.
