Arcade has a built in system where I can set it to where you have to post some to be able to play. I didnt make it high totals. Easy to post this # of times per day! Just find topics and post. lol

This is at least better than me making it where you cant play at all until higher groups. Once you get to 1,000 posts you start getting to play quite a bit.

I shall fins new cooler games soon. I want this one badly! A zelda game. Also there are some mario and sonic the hedgehog games.

Donkey Kong only has 1 level on this version. Sorry.

0-99 posts: 10 times per day, with 5 posts a day requirement.

100-499 posts: 20 times per day, with 5 posts a day requirement.

500-999 posts: 40 times, 5 posts per day.

1,000-1,999 posts: 75 times, 5 posts perday.

2,000-3,332 posts: 100 times, 5 posts per day.

3,333-4,999 posts: no limit, 5 posts per day.

5,000+ posts: no limit, 1 post per day.

(mods posr 3 posts per day for 20 right now).

All ofthis may not work right. Who knows. Jus trying to set up a system in case it does properly work.

For it being 7 A.M. I was just doing awesome on Simon! lol I dunno how it scores. i think it must give you 1 point for each one you remember becuase my score was only 29. But you get 2 chances. And most points came from the first time. The second time I was ready to quit and go to ebd. lol

I think I will have something like "Arcade Friday" and add a new game each week as long as i keep finding more. Plus make tournaments.

I will probably also change things where I up the # of tiems you can play becuase it goes by quick. I just played things about 5 times and it didnt take me long.

I dont have time to test and see if it works right where you cant post till after you post 5 times. Or if it is working where you cant play many games yet. So I guess if it is messed up, then oh well.

Like I said, probably raising the #s later.

edit: hahahahahahahaha look at my titles for my username. I didnt notice those. Kinda nice, yet kinda annoying too. Those links are broken links too for some reason. lol Kinda cool in a way becuase when someone scores higher it goes off of me and onto the leader.

lmao I put max limit 20 for mods. Did it not take long to get to it?

Like i said I will up the limits. I didnt have an idea of what i should put them at. But plus I didnt want to get it so high that people can play huge amounts. 1. People would then get tired of games quicker and 2. It gives more incentive to post if people do like any of the games. I know where soem mroe games are, but not sure how many.

In case you didnt notice, there were 5 games in the "newst" category. but I may put them all back together, to cut down on confusion.

I was able to get someone to give me the mario and zelda games I wanted. So like I said, I will start adding games on a certain day. probably Fridays. I should have waited about some of the others I added where I could have enough to keep adding each week.

btw, Aaron was stopped from playing games earlier, yet the same day it later let him play again. I dont know if something is messed up or if it goes by GMT which is around 6-7 p.m. I believe.

So...maybe you will get more times to play than you're supposed to, or maybe not. Who knows.

I have some other things I can add to the forum too, but havent yet.

I wouldn't mind someone taking the hexagon, moon landing title's from me. Those games kinda suck.

the current mario one I have is justa mario tetris one. When you press the up button/key it rotates the blocks. I am sure there are other mario ones too. I wish I could get the REAL mario games from NES. But the thing is it is tough knowing which of these games are legal to use! They are confusing when they say if games are ok to use or not.

I updated things to allow more playing. And by the way, we should do some tournaments soemtiems just to see how they are.

I've worked 10 hours to switch servers so I will add new arcade games later today. Normally would be a little earlier than I am sure I will get it done at. I am adding the mario tetris game and a zeld agame.

I keep working to get everything cool on the forum. Not the type to let broken things just sit around like that if I can help it. Thus I now fixed problems with the arcade. Now if you click a game name above someone's avatar, it goes to the correct place.

ALSO HERE IS A QUESTION for people. See that huge list of names over Aaron's avatar? I can make it ONE single line where the names slide by, 1 by 1 from right to left. So in other words it is like a news ticker at the bottom of CNN or other channels, onl moving opposite direction. WOULD THAT BE better or worse? It would save TONS of space, yet it would make it less obvious that someone has done great in a lot of games. It would also give you a little less time to click the link to the high scores for that particular game.

I like extreme racing. Thing is, once someone gets a great score, it is probably a game that wont have a high enough max, not enough possible errors to keep it possible to beat smeone's score. This is why 1. it would be good if someone made sequels to games and 2. why tournaments will be fun. Then you have to duplicate your great score, you cant have an off day or you lose. As it is now, when someone gets a high max score, people cant beat them even possibly in some cases becuase it may be the max a score can go.

I have a ton of games I want to add. So some days I may just add them other than Fridays. Or more games on friday than previously or something. I have probably 50 more games right now.

Is everybody aware that arecade is open to anybody, all you have tyo do is make 3 posts and your in. All the games are fun and It would be nice for some people to break my high scores. They wouldnt be as hard as Jason thinks.

The shot game didint keep a score for me, and neither did the boucy ball game. Actually the bouncy ball game never finished. I got to level 33 (lol)and then just gave up.

Actually they have to post 5 posts. I probably made mods 3.

Anyway that is dumb that those arent keeping scores. Those are good games. I like kwik shot. I have 2 more of those ball games if this doesnt ened up working maybe the other will.

Also I wonder if something timed out on the bouncy ball game. There is a stupid 5 minute cgi limit which makes it where we cant do big uploads. Maybe the 5 minutes messes up arcade also.

*TESTED* There is NOT a 5 minute limit on games. That limit does NOT affect them. The problem with ball revamped though is you must finish ALL 115 levels EVEN TO BE ABLE TO submit. You CAN'T "die" or hgave a game over at alll! As for why yours ended, either 1. you accidentally hit a key or mouse button to do it or 2. Just some random bug.

FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T have high speed connections, I am guessing some of the larger games wont load for you in the 5 minute limit. That limit MAY not pertain to downloading though. IT SHOULD only apply to uploading actually. I will test it later.

kwikshot: fixed. Wish pople other than me and aaron played arcade because this stuff isnt the easiest ever to fix. I had to track down someone to give me a certain file folder then had to unzip my kwikpro file and mvoe PART of it to another directory. I noticed the 2 sheep games I am soon adding are set up the same way. So I will have to install them the same way. So these people helping me prevented me from having more games pop up which needed to be fixed.

The ball revamped game, you must finish ALL 115 levels before you can submit. They just dumbly set it up that way.

EDIT: Just to show what i go through to get things perfect... I played a game of kwik shot, only got 200 points then purposely failed where I could test if the score would show. It did. then I saw 2 sets of game data folders on my server. I deleted one. It then made the scores not work again. Thus I put it back. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, somehow when I plaed AGAIN, it had made TWO kwik shot games 1 after another in the arcade games list. ONE said I was champ with 200 points and ONE said i was champ with 4,000+. BOTH were shown over my avatar so it said I was champ of TWO kwisk shot games. So because I am cool, I figured out how to get rid of one of the games.

I am just talking to myself here apparently, but anyway kwik shot AGAIN had issues. I THINK I got it fixed now, but before I got it fixed it gave me almost 40,000 points when I didnt even let it go past round 2. (was testing and let it mess up). So I am worried it may mess up and give someone a higher score than it is supposed to. There is no way to get 40,000 in like 30 rounds. Let alone 2!

I may do like Aaron said and just add a lotof games when I get them. Nobody seems to realize arcade is fun other than us 2 and sometimes Lynne. So why just keep addinga few each week? I was trying to make it where someone wouldnt get tired of games quick, thus there still would be updates i could add later.

Some of the games I have which I havent installed are 2 sheep shooting games, 2 more ball revamped games, more tetris type games, simon type games, card games, huge army games, and 40+ more.

edit: I added sports smash and also I added ultimate ping. I was looking through my games and I have so many more, it isnt even funny. lol I think these 2 can be fairly addictive, as can kwik shot.

fyi I also have ultimate snake, where you only move him with left and right arrows and it curves him rather than 90 degree movements.
