I am teaching a valuable lesson with the new groups concept. I am teaching you all to feel like status makes you better than others. w00t!

Anyway, in the appropriate group forum for you, you can vote on changes to your user group to some extent. For example you could vote on which color to make your names at the bottom of the page (prefrrabl not a shade of blue or red though). Also effects can be done on those down there also. Such as strikethrough, bold, italics, underline, and I believe I can even make them upside down, shadow, etc...

On that type of change you would have to make a poll in your area and leave it up 10+ days where people in the hgroup could vote on it.

Another idea I am toying with is either 1. you can force a group UNDER you to do something (such as make their name smaller, make it pink which would annoy guys, etc etc. lol). or 2. I may make a "group wars" type area where either you do some game and the group that loses actually either loses a feature (such as topic rating) or you can make them do something to their name, i suppose.

EVEN IF I DO one of these ideas, it would revert to normal the next month. And if a group votes to change the appearance of their names, that would not be changeable for a month.

There are probably other ideas which could be done if I think of something. Or maybe someone else can. Maybe I would let some groups change skins for their area. Also whichever group I end up allowing to have their own separate forums and be mods for them, that would be located in their user group area also possibly.

Also even if people were to vote not to do changes like that, another reaon for the forum areas is if you happen tow ant to say something you don't want people in other groups to see for some reason.

The n00bs group cant vote on things, but I put their area there too lol I am tempted to say everything that can be done to another group must be done to the n00bs. :)

Anyway, dunno if this interests people that much, but if not some people who join at some point will be interested I am sure.

edit: It is after 9 AM and just now going to bed. I have other things to add later, such as new forum areas and try to clean things up more, like I did by changing some categories to subforums.

I have got things now close to how I want them for now. So I can start thinking more about getting members.

When I have time later I am switching around things to give some things earlier. I will also be eliminating Group 2 (which most of you are in), Group 5, Group 9, and Group 10. Groups dont need to happen so often. They only need to be done at milestones that mean a little something. So theoretically that would be 100, 1,000, 3333 (since i like that #), 5,000, and 10,000. So there only need to be 5 groups you cana ctually promote into. If anyone ever would get close to 15,000 or 20,000 then I could think of adding a group later.

Since 100 is so quick to get to though, I may use 500 and not have anything between 100 and 500.

Also, I FINALLY was able to get things edited properly to put a legend at the bottom of the front page. I will later be adding all of the groups to be displayed there. It would be annoying having tons of groups listed all across there.

I am likely adding a big modification which relates to groups and also tomy idea of letting some people make their own forum areas. I am just making sure of the specifics and how I want to implement it into the forum. Nobody is active on this forum, but I am still trying to improve it for when people come here who want to post more.

As I told you the other 100 times you asked, people don't evben look there and so things I think they need to know I sometimes post here. I may even get rid of the forum news area and post it in here. But that may not be too smart because everything would get too mixed together.

As you know, I have normally later moved them abck to the forum news area though.
