August 8, 200520 yr Author comment_668 So, as you all may know, I went to the exciting, yet in the end disappointing (coughjones=rallykillercough) game today! I tried to take some pics of Lew Ford (my fav player!) because we were right by center but my camera sucks so the pics didnt turn out so well. heres the good ones...not many! First off, every sunday on the dome plaza, 2 twins players sign autographs for 20 minutes. but, of course we didnt get any...if they would have stayed out for like 3 more minutes we would have gotten some!! grr.. so while I was waiting in the scorching heat I went up to the front of the line and took this pic of Jesse Crain and Michael Ryan. heres me, before the game started, thus i am smiling joe nathan...he was playing catch with someone my sister and me...notice the rally hat is on! yeah, i think thats the last game i get to go to this season... up next: @Seattle. August 20, 200520 yr Author comment_1577 YAY! I just got home from meeting MICHAEL CUDDYER! So we got there at like 10, even though he wasnt signing until 11 I made my dad take me and my sister super early so we could get a good spot in line, and we did! So at 11 he started signing, I had a poster that I had hanging up in my room, and then a pic from a magazine. Then they were like...only ONE autograph per person...I was like ahhh!!! My dad was currently in the car taking a call from someone at his work so I dash to the car and was like dad, HURRY UP they are only allowing 1 per person so you need to get my other thing signed for me! So he made it back in line in time. Then we entered the pro-shop!!! We got up to meet him and I got a pic with him also!!! I had my sister take the pic with the digital camera and while she was getting something signed I checked to see if it worked and he (Michael) was laughing. He was really nice! I told him good luck tonight and my dad was like well, I hope you guys can keep the winning streak goin! I was so happy after I met him I was like shaking kinda it was weird! So heres me and Michael, and then my autographed things. Oh, and while we were waiting in line this lady and her kid were behind us and well, the lady had a pic of the team with LEW FORDS autograph, and I just had to comment....I was like, omgosh, you are SO lucky to have Lew's autograph!! Hes my FAVORTE! She's like well hes signing at a broadway pizza tomorrow night I was like SERIOUSLY!??! She was like yes! I was like OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!! So then after meeting Michael my dad took us to Shinders (card store) and we purchased a nice pic of Lew that I can have him sign when I MEET HIM tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSS and then I also have his shirt that he can autograph too!!!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!
August 21, 200520 yr comment_1611 I was close as far as my prediction of Felix, but he did even much better than i thought. Eight innings instead of seven, two runs instead of three, and nine strikeouts instead of eight! Not to mention he would have won the game if not for a freakin 2 out SINGLE. Pretty sweet when the hitters had already faced him before and he still only made a mistake with a single, not even a homer. Sexson "flew out deep" in the 9th so if only that had been a homer, he would ahve won also! I am not HUGELY rooting 1 way or another now. I would like a guardado save, although I do like that your team has been winning a lot. Also that is cool about you meeting Michael and then meeting Lew tomorrow. You should date one of them. I knew your sister was cool too. She took a good pic. She rocks.
