Posted April 16, 201015 yr comment_12013 The NBA bracket contest has been opened. You have until Saturday afternoon to complete your picks. The deadline is the same exact time for both this contest and the late NHL contest. Each contest costs 100 points to join. Each also pays the same amount of points during the contest except the jackpot and perfect bracket amounts are higher for the NBA contest since you won't know any of the results before the deadline for that contest. Unfortunately these playoff series snuck up on me and I didn't even have time to change anything to make the forms look better or the "behind the scenes" stuff I wanted to do to have them set up in the best possible way. However, as usual they should work fine, which is the main thing for now. If I remember correctly the NHL is the one where the playoffs are all tricky. I believe the seeds are rearranged after the first series. For this NBA one it goes straight across rather than seeds resetting. Either way I coded them to work properly last year. edit: By the way read the tie breaker questions properly. For this contest it's total points for both teams combined for all NBA finals games so that will be a large number. And yes the forms and some areas are a mess still so I'll have to think of a better way to skin those areas later. I wanted to sell thiss oftware by now, but still have work to do.
April 28, 201015 yr Author comment_12033 I should have the standings show when theyw ere last updated. All you have to do is click your name to see which games have been paid out, but still it would be nice.
May 14, 201015 yr Author comment_12045 Cleveland was eliminated. Thus Guy was eliminated from the contest. All three of us have the lakers picked for their next series. Then the only other series anyone can get points from is i can get 200 if the Lakers win it all. So bottom line if the Lakers win it all I win the contest. if not then Betterguy wins. And Guy already wrapped up the NHL contest.
June 18, 201015 yr Author comment_12075 Congrats to everyone. Especially me for winning. haha. Look how close I was on the tie breaker! I predicted 1,264 and it ended up being 1,244. Very close!
