I told this girl online yesterday how 3 6's were in the total post count. I just rebuilt stats since the post # is wrong and STILL it is saying less posts than that other #!

I dont know if it is plain wrong or if posts are missing!

edit: fyi NOW the number is less today because I deleted the 20+ RSS feed topics. So this time it should be legit. But it still should be 20 more than this even without those RSS feeds.

Somehow I think we may have lost about 100 posts back when we were ona yahoo server. DON'T USE YAHOO for hosting. This host is working out MUCH better, the server is MUCH faster, you probably have not once noticed an internal server error like Yahoo caused, their server flat did not WORK on some things this is working properly on.

And to top that off we may have lost posts.

I backed up my database tonight where I would have it in case something ever ruins the DB. Well I looked at the posts table. The most recent post ID # is 120 HIGHER than the # of posts listed at the bottom of the first page of this forum!

THERE IS NO WAY I deleted 120 posts since this forum opened. Not even 20, let alone 120!

And I dont even have mods with delete ability. And when I DO let them, it will go to the deleted posts forum and they dont have authority to delete there. So it isnt them who caused this.

The post table was constantly "corrupt" on yahoo's server but not now on this one. I bet posts disappeared somehow.
