October 6, 200916 yr Author comment_11786 These are going to be in bracket form so it's not anything using free bet. I just don't have the system set up in a way that is dieal for putting in a team and changing it. In the past it could have worked ok that way, but this way is a tad more complicated since each team has a unique id. Although I could have done that and changed it and it not be THAT hard now that I recall how it's set up. Still would be better if you do it since then it will deduct points and update everything without me having to do it manually. If you're not able to do it in time I'll either do it or I will justw ait until you are able to and open it back up since you already told your picks. Thanks

Go here: http://www.gottalk.com/index.php?app=sports&do=bracketstats&id=6 or simply click the betting link and scrol down to the contest which has a status of "in progress". Once on the linked page simply click the link to fill out your brackets. Don't forget to fill it totally out, which is done in several steps. The tie breaker is how many games it will take before a team wins the world series. If you win this you will get 5,000 points. If you happen to have a perfect bracket you get another 5,000. This contest closes at the time of the first game this afternoon. I will probably open it back for people who want to join late, but that is not very ideal since someone could look at my picks or someone else's. I am considering changing my picks though. If I open it back later I reserve the right to change my picks since someone couldsee them before making theirs. I am unsure on who I wanted to pick anyway.
October 10, 200916 yr Author comment_11790 Thanks for joining as usual only us two in it. lol I see we both picked the same tie breaker also so that sucks, but I guess good I can be sure and test that tie breakers being the same still pays properly by splitting the pot if we do tie. If St. Louis and Boston both lose then all I ened is the Angels to beat the Yankees and we would automatically tie. If Boston or St. Louis do win I can still win. Well actually if only ONE of those win I could still beat you. If both lose the best I can do is tie.
October 13, 200916 yr Author comment_11791 Well unfortunately with only two people in the contest it all comes down to the Yankees and Angels series now. If the Yankees win, Aaron wins the contest. If the Angels win then we tie and each get half the jackpot since we also picked the same tiebreaker. Those are the only two outcomes. If the Yankees lose we both end up with terrible brackets. I expect the Yankees to win it all though as they are the best team. I simply thought Boston's better pitching would carry them to win it all. I checked as I paid out each game and they all paid properly by the way.

November 7, 200916 yr comment_11818 Did you have to manually pay it out because it dosent look like anything has changed? It still says "In Progress," and even though the Yanks won 3 days ago, it still has no winner listed.
November 8, 200916 yr Author comment_11819 Done. Congrats on winning. Yes I always have to manually enter who won matchups by selecting from dropdowns then it automatically pays out. Not much way to have the whole thing be done automatically unless there was a way to automatically get the data behind the scenes and it automatically do everything, but that would be difficult and maybe not even possible. I took a few days before doing it since I was busy with some things and nobody had been on ehre. But anyway I just checked and it payed out properly.
