I think murder is overdoing it when filing that charge. He should definitely spend time in jail for being negligent, but he did not intentionally kill, so wouldn't it be manslaughter or even LESS than that? Why should he get the same sentence (life in prison) as the sentence Caylee Anthony's mom will get if found guilty? In that case it was intentional murder (assuming she did it). This is a case of gross negligence and POSSIBLY even him thinking improperly due to the cold affecting his reasoning maybe?

In true murder cases usually they don't seem to even care. Meanwhile this guy was banging his head on a desk.

Another link in case the stupid Yahoo one stops working as usual. Also notice the poll. That shows that the majority voting on that poll do agree with me.

edit: ha I noticed in one of the comments someone used the term "gross negligence" as I did here.

Yeah i thought manslaughter was indeed the appropriate charge. I think the prosecution are being morons also because I bet he won't be convicted of murder and they can't charge him again even with manslaughter if he is found not guilty can they? Or is the law only that they can't charge for actual murder again?
