Posted November 30, 200817 yr comment_10927 It appears Mrmphis will be in a bowl game despite starting the seaosn 0-3, losing their top 2 quarterbacks for the season, losing their second best running back, and finishing only at 6-6. That record normally would only get teams from big conferences in, but this year it puts Memphis in position where either Memphis or Southern Mississippi must be chosen for a bowl game. Each has the same record, the same conference record, and Memphis won their head-to-head matchup. So it would appear Memphis would be the selection.
