I won't upgrade to that when it's released unless they get it looking decent in IE because a lot of people still use IE. I'm not sure how they could not notice how bad it is in that browser. It's as if they did not even test it in IE. Correct me if it looks normal to any of you in IE. Maybe my computer settings are weird. Also notice though they went to larger fonts also and remember people complained here that my fonts were too big? They are much larger by default in both IPB and VB now. That skin looks nice in firefox though, don't you think? That area on the right which shows stats... it can be collapsed by clicking the arrow at the upper right. Nice nice nice. If it looks good in IE I am going to love when we get that new look/version!!!
November 20, 200817 yr Author comment_10875 Actually I don't know how I feel about it. It looks good and bad. I found out though it looks ok in IE, but my font settig at largest in IE is what caused it to look weird.
December 17, 200817 yr Author comment_11015 Looks good even in low resolutions now really. I had mentioned to them that it looked bad when you use big text sizes in fairly low resolutions and it looks like they changed it back to fixed fonts to avoid that. Unless it's just temporary and theyw ant it looking how it did. I don't know. Only a beta version of IPB 3 will be out this month so it looks like at least January before using it here and also I may convert some of the modifications before using it also.
December 22, 200817 yr Author comment_11032 If a couple of you want to try this, sign up at www.gottalk.com/testy33 I am disappointed in the speed of it compared with this site's version. I may not even use 3.0 when it becomes final. If someone wants to try it and give me feedback join where I told and I will approve a couple people, as it's my test site. I just can't see upgrading and all of our modifications such as arcade, casino, reviews, betting all ceasing to work and THEN even after that everything be slower when it was said it would be faster for IPB 3, not slower.
