Anyone have any opinions on the bailout which was approved last week?

I personally do not agree with it at all and one example they used as "evidence" for why it should be passed was the 777 point drop after the original bill was not approved.

Well first of all stocks rebounded the enxt day. Secondly it has not magically gone up after this agreement was reached. Third, MANY people are unhappy with it and demanded that their representatives vote no on it. I think a lot of people in congress are going to lsoe their job soon. The entire House of Representatives is apparently up for election again this year.

Something (probably) had to be done, but this solution does not sit well with many. Especially since they then threw in 100+ billion dollars for nonsense unrelated to this situation.

Both Barrack Obama and John McCain voted yes on the bill and I think it was pretty unwise.
