Hurricane Gustav will be making landfall in 1-2 hours near New Orleans.

At once it looked like it would be a category 4 or category 5 storm. However, it is instead going to be a category 3. Still a dangerous storm, but not even close to hurricane Katrina I wouldn't think.

Although one thing to take into mind is that the city has not recovered from Katrina, so even a smaller storm may dish out some damage.

Some children's hospitals are actually staying open.
