The 2008 homerun derby probably won't be too great since as usual the big names apparently opted out.

However a former University Of Memphis player is in the derby. Dan Uggla. Last year all of these people talked down Memphis' sports yet the football team has gone to bowl games all but one year recently, the cheerleading and dcance teams won national championships, the basketball team was in the NC game, and now this baseball player is an all-star and in the HR derby.

Others are "from" Memphis, but not the school itself, such as the Orioles closer.
