Now this study seems to back it up also. I personally don't think I would want to risk it though.

August 1, 200817 yr comment_10421 Psilocybinous mushrooms can yield vastly different experience for different people. The setting in which you are having the trip has a great deal to do with it. In my experience they were very enjoyable and I think it does do some good to understand what it can be like to pretty much be insane for a period of time. I don't regret any of my experiences one bit.

To add to what the Professor has said, The experience is also effected by the company you are surrounding yourself with and/or the environment in which you trip. If your with a bunch of downers or complainers your much more likely to have a negative experience. Being surrounded by fun outgoing people can heighten the experience tremendously. Tune on, Turn in, Drop out.
