Interesting no quotes in there about how bad it was that he killed a police officer, only how horrible it was that "he" was killed. It's really kind of ridiculous that prisoners' rights matter more than innocent people's.

Reminds me of the whole POW camp incident where everyone was so worried how they were treated, yet look how U.S. POWs are treated in those countries.
