AHHHHHHHHH!!! Today was my first day of high school!!! It was pretty fun actually. I finally got my locker open, I couldn't at orientation, I tried like 50 times I swear. Apparently I have a "big sis" even though I didn't sign up for the "Big sis/Little sis" program. But I guess I get free gifts? Fun stuff! Anyways...

Intro to Catholicism: Love the teacher!!! She's hilarious! She was my brothers Confirmation sponsor too!! She's really funny though. We just read over the syllabus and put tabs in our handbook.

Honors Geometry:... What... the... fudge?!?!?! I can tell it's going to be hard. He just had us read another syllabus (there was one for each class) and told us about mathmaticians and how we can get extra credit and stuff. He also did this one thing where he made a rectangle with 7 fractions in it and asked us to figure out how many rectangles it could make. 28 in all!!! It was pretty cool.

Spanish: I can't understand a flipping thing that lady says, in english or spanish. I'm so confused. But all my soph and jr friends say it's an easy course so I trust them. At least she's nice and everyone in there I was already friends with pretty much.

Pre-AP English: This is the lady that teaches at a college level. My brothers friend went to OU and said this lady's english class taught everything in his first two years of English there!!! The summer-reading test wasn't hard, but it was long, I didn't get to finish but we get like 5 minutes tomorrow and then we start the essay section.

Lunch: FUN!!! LOL, I loved lunch. It was a hoot. My friend Rachel is ADHD I swear, she's already found a sophmore she's in love with lol.

Oklahoma History: A bunch of nothing. We read another syllabus and "said something about ourselves" boring. I have a class full of retarded guys I swear. One kid wants to be called Chopsticks and wrote a rap that included "My dad mows lawns and my mom does nails cause I'm asian YO" And then Chris and Scott are just... wow, so dull. But they're hotties, it's so sad. We got to talk for like 30 minutes in that class. THERE'S A KID IN THERE NAMED CHIP MUSKRAT!!!!!

Computer Tech: Has like three of the coolest people on Earth, plus ROHAN!!! He did some of his gymnastics in Health, which I don't have until next semester so I missed it! But he said he'd do a Thomasflair for me tomorrow... YAY! But yeah, it was really boring, and I couldn't talk cause I did once and she stared at me the rest of the time lol.

Methods of Science: Not too great. There's a lot of lab work that we have to do. I've never done a lot of lab work so I might be screwed. But again, we read a syllabus and then got in groups and made a list of what we thought made a good student, a good teacher, and how cheating was defined. There's a kid in there that's in my Honors Geometry class too and he's SO annoying, he's a smart kid but he just throws around words that are big and he thinks are impressive. The stupid guys and the ditzy girls go :o but I just think it's annoying and retarded. URGH, he's so arrogant.

Anyways, all of my classes have at least like 4 of my friends in them so I think high school might even be nice. Me and three of my friends walked to this Chinese Restaurant after school and saw Chopsticks. It was so funny. Now I'm home and have to have a few of the syllabuses signed but besides that I have no homework! Anyways, thought I'd tell you how my first day went. Thanks guys!

Good luck in hnors geometry. lmao The only class in H.S. I ever got below a C in was REGULAR geometry. I could only imagine honors.

In fact for the whole YEAR of geometry I ended up with a D.

When I first opened my locker when I was a freshman, I had to go to student services and it ended up that the wrong lock was on my locker. And I couldn't even get my locker open last year either. So that's good you got it open.

And good luck in Geometry also. That's probably the easiest math from my standpoint. Hope it's a good year for you, sounds like it will.

In germany you dont have lockers. You have your books and stuff at home and you need to bring the books to school every day. And you have different subjects each day, so you gotta bring different books to school every day.

Awww! Lynne! I'm so sorry! I so would have hung out with you. There are A LOT of cute guys too! Today was cool, Oklahoma History is the best class. Since classes are actually starting now, like actual work, the teacher really shined, it's gonna be fun. And I finished the second half of the English test! YAY! For lunch I had french fries, a brownie, and about half a Minute Maid pink lemonade though. Urgh, some of the girls are getting annoying though.

Well, ive never met an american highschool girl yet but i cant imagine that theyre annoying. Ive seen movies, theyre hot and stuff...ok, thats just a movie. German girls are difficult. Id like to meet soem american girls, i think theyre easier

Jaime, highschool is the funnest thing ever, I swear! My freshman year was so much fun, sophomore year was even better! I cant wait for school to start on the 6th. GO TO FOOTBALL GAMES!! they are sooo much fun!!!!

Oh man, how can I forget? Football games are definitely one of the best, iif not the best, part about High School! Being crammed together in freezing temperatures, taunting the other team, and just watching football. Can't beat it! ^_^

But it's going to be hard watching this year, just because I know I could've been out there playing. :mellow: Oh well. Hopefully me working at a gymnastics center will even more increase my strength enough to start at DE next year. It'll feel good to play under the Friday Night Lights.

I had my first day of school today!!

So at the pepfest...that was pretty fun! We have a new principal and the srs and jrs (me) gave him a standing O and then the sophys followed and then so did the freshman even though they had NO clue as to why we were standing for him lol. everyone HATED our last principal! then there was this retarded little relay thingy...but our grade won!! well, the teachers did but they got to cheat so we really did win. then the victory cheer and we booed the freshman BAD i love it! lol

so...first hour...honors math 3 wow it only took about 15 minutes to get started on math stuff! i was so confused because i hadnt had math for so long lol. the teacher is alright..and theres a few cool kids in my class including my little sophomore buddy from math last year haha

2nd...modern global...i love the teacher! hes so cool! theres also cool kids in my class and i think its gonna be a fun quarter

3rd..english...blah i hate that subject but i have a ton of friends in there its gonna be sooo fun! i eat lunch with them all and that was i blast too! but we did this thing and it was really confusing lol

4th...awesome teacher once again but theres probably only like 20 kids in my class haha class was psych 1

Sounds like you had a pretty good first day, Megan. Might as well tell about my first day, can't believe I didn't share it already.

First Hour - Intro to Health Careers - I actually really like what this class will teach me and stuff. I just don't like the class. I'm the only Junior guy in the class. And the restare all Senior girls and one guy. There are a few Junior girls, but I don't talk to them. So yeah. I'm all by my loneself there. :happy: Luckily we won't have partner projects.

Second Hour - Math 3 Survey - I guess you could call it honors since it's a college level class. It's going to be tough all and over. The math teacher tries to be funny at times, but most of the time he's not. But he's a nice guy. He gave us all of our homework for the year, so I can easily go ahead and do more. And once again, I'm the only Junior there. So I'm all by my lonesome again.

Third Hour - Personal Fitness - Finally! Some people in my grade! I love this class; just what I need to get back in shape for Track. :smile: My gym teacher is the same one I had since a freshman, so I know this'll bve a good class. But I guess I was more out of shape than I though; thus far I pulled my right quad, my groin, both of my gleuts, and I'm extremely sore. Oh well. At least it's a good sore. :smile:

Lunch - Yay! Enough said. :happy:

Fourth Hour - Wind Ensemble - Best class ever in my opinion. I'm a first chair Alto Sax but I'm in the second chair. Odd. But everyone in this class rocks. Definitely feels good to end the day with this everyday. Ha. I'm such a band geek.

I LOVE lunch!! theres so much of us trying to fit onto this one table...7 girls and 5 guys. its pretty sweet though they had me laughing almost all lunch today...i love all the people i sit by! they are so much fun.
